Movie thread

Jesus just finished watching Hostel with 3 girls. Not as bad as Hostel II, but the room was completely dark and half way through it someone banged on the door. I was dropping a brick when I answered that door.

The Beat That My Heart Skipped. The French remake is infinity better than the American Original, and overall, pretty good.

Has anyone been unfortunate enough to see Shark in Venice? It appeared on-demand this week, sounds truly terrible I am tempted to waste £3.50 to find out.....

Edit:

Stop-Loss appeared today, a much better bet I thought. Really good film. Ryan Phillippe stars as a US soldier ordered to return to Iraq after his tour was over.

Watched a few more movies since I last posted but will only rate the three I watched last week.

The Kite Runner: Very good movie. A good adaptation of the book. Does a good job of showing the differences in life in Afghanistan in different times. Gripping story as well.

The Counterfeiters: An Austrian movie about Nazis forcing Jewish prisoners to counterfeit currency for them. Pretty well made movie and very touching.

Shoot 'Em Up: Hilarious action movie. Doesn't even pretend to make sense half the time. I really enjoyed it.

Watched 'Talladega Nights' yesterday. I don't know if you guys like it, but I found it really funny.

Cal: What--What's Diablo mean?
Ricky: It’s, like, Spanish for, like, a fighting chicken.

Tried watching it the other day on TV, couldn't get through it. I just can't stand either of the main characters in the movie.

Anyone seen Adulthood? Came out on DVD recently and I saw it for the second time last friday. Quality film, if your under 18. Watching with my gf in the cinema first time round meant I missed most of the film so had to watch it properly.

There are alot more funny phrases from that film i heard.

There are, but living in Venezuela, that one sort of stands out.
