Movie thread

I think the dark atmosphere adds to the drama. I agree about the villian scene, it scared the hell out of me as well.

English last saw Date movie the funniest movie i have ever seen ...and on dvd Malibus Most Wanted again a really funny muvee.
I agree with you on Malibu's Most Wanted, that was funny, but the date movie was horrible. You watch a movie so stupid you expect some female nudity, but none here

PHIR HERA PHERI, copied some dialogues from its 1st part, but still the ending is full of laughs, so i can rate it 3 out of 5 points.

I saw 'superman' today!!!

Was pretty good, I didn't really like the ending though, could of been done much better. But it's obvious that there's going to be a sequal:)

For some reason it looks really sensationalised on the ads....almost like they've tried too hard to create some sort of response in the viewer. Anyway, I'll probably see it next week! :p

I though it wasn't releasing till 30th?

I sense a disturbance in the force....

Not over here, it started today- for some reason movies always premiere on Thursday's!

Yeah the effects throughout the movie are superb, its just the storyline lets it down a bit. But i spose, what else can you do with a superhero which has been around for like 50 years??

It's definetly a fresh superman storyline though, just could of been done much much better.

this is a bit of an oldy now (well not really at all, 2005) but has anyone seen the movie Wolf Creek, i watched it a short while ago and it is an amazing movie. It is a based on a true story of 3 backpackers who were unsuspectingly tortured by what seems to be a friendly australian country bloke. It is stunningly good acting throughout the movie and I'm going to watch it again very soon. Although it is based on a true story, none of the events were ever proven and it has been claimed that calling this movie "based on a true story" is misleading to the public as it is really about 20% based on the true storys. However, i found it more to be based on several Australian backpacker murders and the gruesome facts of those rolled into a "what might of happened" idea of this. It is a true "edge of your seat" thriller that you MUST watch at night, if you are a little feint-hearted steer clear of this one as it is at some points very graphic and confronting, but if your like me, and love those movies that "could of happened to anyone/wrong place wrong time" sort of movies this is a must see.

I rated it 4.5/5, it lost .5 mainly due to the fact of falsly calling it "based on a true story" Despite the fact that all the events that happenened to 'Ben' are true (he was the one that survived and told his story) It is still mostly made up, but never the less, AMAZING FILM

Saw 'Rang de Basanti' today. Absolute gem of a movie. I don't necessarily agree with it, but its a damn good movie. I've loved Aamir Khan since I was a little kid.
