That made me chuckle. I find it a little strange that people couldn't recognise I was joking. I swear I've mentioned before that I like Muralitharan a lot but oh well.

I have seen poster of him on your wall.

All light hearted fun. Like how Murali got attacked outside woolworths in Hobart, Newtown. That's like 5 minutes walk from my house. :p

Congratulations on a great career.

At this current time, IMO, he is the 2nd best spinner in Test history, he has taken many wickets and hopefully will take a fair few more before he retires.

It'll be sad to see him go. I was hoping he'd break the 1000 wicket barrier but that would need him to play well into his 40's. :p

One of the world`s greatest spinners, sad to see him retire but well done to him though.

First Warne, second Leverock and now Murali, sad to see him retire he has had an outsanding career as a bowler.
