Certainly its better than in EA with regards to placement, but its way too easy to stick it between fielders on BLIC and can do it every ball.

can anyone ask them does building from scratch include "AI/gameplay" too ?
or is it just GFX so as to make their job easier for PS3/360 importing ?

if am not wrong, BLIC05 was built from scratch right ??
we all know what happened to it :p

also, am not gonna believe anything what they say....
they lie most of the time.....
and "NEW FACTS PER DAY" is not gonna excite me either !!!

The every ball bit is the only issue with me. The placement thing would be good if it were more random, and it didn't just go exactly where you place it. I reckon it should just go in the exact direction with perfect timing, and otherwise it should go off to the sides as well as being a less powerful stroke.

The AI is the biggest issue though. The good teams can hit you for 20 per over occasionally, charging down the wicket to short balls, and the bad teams cannot defend out a yorker well enough to get above 10 all out. (which would be assuming 10 no-balls)

All I wanna know is if it'll be region free for Xbox.

I doubt it will be region free but again there is PC version always there. If they use technology by Red Miles that game can be better but then again there is "If" ...

Now we are waiting for codemaster to make an official announcement and tell the release date and other details ...

Cricket 99 disapointed many people Cricket 2000 disapointed many poeple Cricket 2002 disapointed many people Cricket 2004 disapointed many people and cricket 2005 disapointed many people so if they were to learn it would have been Cricket 99 but they dont give a cr@p about the community all they care about is making a cr@p loads of money. The only reason the next cricket stands a chance is because of Peter Moore who stands a lot of interest in Cricket games as he was interested in Brian Lara cricket 07 when he launched the demo on xbox live.

Enuf said EA dont give a stuff about people its money>people

Well Codies were so keen to help interact with the public, what happened? We got a crap game, which game was more durable?

EA's was hands down....

Codemasters made massive sales for Brian Lara 2007, say what you want but that is their aim and it is not a dishonourable one.

Fairly obviously they didn't set out to create a bad game. They thought they'd created a pretty decent game. Unfortunately what they created and what people here expected were two different games. What they created was a pretty decent 5min knockabout game, where you play a short game and it doesnt really matter how accurate it is. Look at games like fifa, most people dont play them for 90mins a game, they play the shorter matches. Sadly this doesn't really translate to a cricket game. People dont want that, they want something where a test match does take a long time to play and where it is hard to get wickets and score runs. Being able to bowl out the computer for 50 or so runs is fine if your going to play 5 over matches with a couple of mates after yet another unsuccessful night down the pub, but its not what cricket fans wanted. As for EA, they just keep on going recycling the same old game but with slightly updated graphics each year, same bugs, same flaws.

BLIC 07 is not even worth playing for a five overs game ... on the other hand EA Cricket 07 rocks !!
