I did sell my PS3 disc and bought it again, I can't get the AC 09 bug out of my system. I would love to play the tourneys, where do I find the listing.

add others also believe me there are very very good players around you will really find the competition u r looking for in those players

we normally play with preset rules like 1 fast bowler,1 spinner mandatory and no dancing down the wicket to spinners and so on
it gives really good matches

add krish and rizzy they seem to be real aggressive players

So when does the next tournament start? I guess it is too late to join the current one. Why no dancing down the wicket to spinners? One of the big joy in cricket enjoyed by spinners is to get the batsman out stumped. You have to risks sixes and fours to get the batsman out that way?

down the wicket just takes the fun out since spinner can be hit for six every ball and also
the rules are preset and agreed by both so u hv to follow them for tourney

I find it also irritating when a bowler runs up and the curser is buzzing around like a fly with one wing.!
I used to move the curser once but found it far better to be accurate and to adjust the pace instead.

I also hate playing the 'made-up XI' teams and people that set ridiculous custom fields.

When I play the agaisnt the computer on the 360 they cursor move some of the time, Makes the game quite good!!

Most top ranked players will move the cursor so it is a matter of getting used to it and learning it how to do it yourself. I am against moving the cursor all over the place so your head start to get dizzy and lag causing all sort of problems.

One player I faced moved the curser 5% of the time. He'd pitch further out on the off-side and maybe on the last ball of the over move the curser towards legside slightly at the last second and get me out LBW.

tango dude moving the cursor is not that bad a thing as you think
you just have to get use to it
how can you expect the bowler to bowl on already known place and then not get whacked

using lag for moving the cursor from 1 side to another is a different issue
but moving cursor for variations is fun and also makes bowling competitive in an already batsman friendly game like AC 09

Playing cursor shifters is easy, if they aim off stump, play down leg side and vice versa.

It's so predictable, you may as well not move the cursor. Or they'll bowl 2 or 3 outside off stump and the, what do you know, they'll shift the cursor at the last minute to middle stump with a different pace. I'll take 4 runs thank you very much.

This game is about reading the mind of your opponent and a bit of guessing as to where the next ball will be pitched and playing a shot according to the line and length of the ball.
