India vs England - Second Semifinal at The Oval​

The second semifinal between an in form India and hosts England is going to take place at The Oval! The first semifinal between Australia and New Zealand is going on right now at the Lords! This is going to be a very important match for both top class sides trying to prove that they are the best in the business! India have had a very good tournament so far only losing to champions Australia! England have had a not so great tournament but still they qualify for the semifinal based on merit!

New Zealand finally got a partnership going as McMillan and Marshall added 46 runs for the fifth wicket and took the New Zealand score 71/4 in 15 overs.


During this partnership all Aussies bowler got some hammering particularly Mcgrath. Mcgrath was looking good early on but later was way too expensive as his speed looked too easy for batsmen to hit despite of good accuracy. Gillespie was economical on other end. Since Gillespie and Mcgrath were not getting any success, Ponting introduced Brett Lee in 15th over.
