Play as a player

I suppose a game should let me play as a single player. I know the logistics for this type of game will be a bit unrealistic but imagine If I were to play as Lara or Tendulkar and win few games for my team or even as a player on his debut working hard to perform well in his first game. How I wish there was a game such as this, would have engaged me forever.

i to want this type of game... although i think it could be taken a lot further. creat a player ie your self, then get selected to join your local side, ie ing cup side, new zealand state shiel sides and county cricket seides ect. then get your 1st class career going in that team... now provided you play well, you'll get called up to play for your country.

how i reon id would work is say you bat 5th, you come out and there is a score already posted your side is 3 down for 90. now you play untill you are out and only play as your self, ie you only face the balls your facing and only run as your self.. not both players so you have to lisen to the other batsman...

if your teams is fielding then you do nothing ofc... cause who wants to stand and play in field for a full innings. so like batting it simulates... if you are a good bowler then the game will resume play when it is your over to bowl.

your goal would be to make money... sign new contracts to play with overseas teams in county cricket ect, the more cricket you play and the better you proform then the more your stats rise and the better you become. untill you retire, and see how you rank against the top 100 greatest cricketers of all time.

well....we can play as a player. as long as we are not out...the game goes on. if we get out....the rest of the game can get auto-simulated.

if we r a bowler..then only as long as we r bowling in a spell and the rest auto-sim.

It could start up before the start of a ball you're going to be invovled in and from your perspective and you might need to use the arrow keys to run to the ball and feild it or you might have to press a button and a direction to dive or you might have to catch it or run and chase the ball before throwing it in.

ea sport's NHL games has a lock up key and if you press the lock up key then you can only play in that position,maybe they can put it in cricket to and then you can to your list and select who you want to be and play with the rest of the game

i think it would be fun to stand in the field for a whole innings, as if you are captain you can arrange people and if you are wicket keeper you have to wicket keep
