Post count in my thread??

imo it just doesn't make sense that you don't count posts for leagues that are running (I barely see ANY spam in there) but your post count increases if you beg for vCash? Or post in the random thoughts thread?

When the post counts were on there were spam galore and the League forums were the most hated on the forum. Since they have been taken off only members that actually post for the leagues have stayed. If you need post count to be active in a league then you aren't in it for the right reasons.

As for the two threads you mentioned, moving the vCash thread to the League forum makes no sense because it has nothing to do with it. So in the general chat it remains. Closing it is not an option unless you want your PM and VM spammed. Random thoughts is far from spam, its a popular part of the forum now and a number of members have commented on how they feel PC is better with it.

Edit: In saying that I'll bring up the matter and see what the other staff think about reinstating the post count for the League section (no idea why its off for the graphics section). But if I see the spam come back again then it will be off for good.

Well IMO Leagues/Stories are the best sections, that's why I have stayed with them regardless.
After all I don't really care about post count, I was just wondering why it was.

IMO since post count is off for the leagues, is it possible to turn of off for the vCash thread, then only people will visit it if they actually need vCash, not to just get there post count up which is happening ATM.

Pretty much I'm fine with the post count not counting for leagues, but if it's not getting counted for them it must be turned off for vCash thread (if possible).

You can only turn off post counts for forums. The only option is to close it or move it to a non post count forum.

Tbh I actually don't give jack about my post count, I just felt it made no sense so I gave 2 cents worth.

I know you didn't, as I mentioned above the only way to make the post not count in that thread is to move it to a non post counting section and of course that makes no sense so its stuck in the general chat where post count is on.

Post count means alot for people running various leagues as they give away prize money to the highest poster in their league.

Yes but you can still see who has posted the most in a single thread by clicking the number of replies on the forum index.

I agree with the admins, post count should not be in operation in the Cricket Leagues forum. It is a spam fest.

vBookie forum had post count but I've taken it off so the above works. Plus it seems a few just use that forum to spam their post count.
