not to start the comet talk again but I had seen the video 3 times and didn't notice it until I saw people moaning about it on here...

guess I better prepare for some long days in the field if it's a batting aid.

Yes, even I didn't notice it. Most people bitch and moan about anything and everything so nothing new

Bowling action seemed not so perfect for the otherwise outstanding game but then Ross explained as the animations are chained together and under our control

It was a very good video, best so far. Goal was to show us how the game works and it did that. I hope we get more such videos

Usually though the seniors as you call them are very helpful and specific where one can look and often link to very precise posts even though they have done the same thing many many times. Funny that we dont often hear about that......

Just wondering if someone could respond to my question. HBK has confirmed that the comet is there to help pick up line and length when batting, contrary to what others are saying.

Sorry to bring up this comet thing again, but my question is:

If we are batting as a less skilled player (eg: tailender/Chris Martin) will the comet be less prominent to represent an inferior ability to read line/length/swing etc, therefore making it harder to score runs with these players?

There are many other factors that make it tougher for tail enders. The "comet" is consistent.

Ross has said that it can't be removed in the final version. however, they will provide this option in DLC.
