Ps 3 online batting problem

Hi,
I just played my first online game on the PS3 and was just not able to bat. The ball was freezing in between and made my life difficult to judge and hit. Is it because I have a 256kbps broadband connection? I guess it is too slow for online gameplay...any suggestion ?Please help.

This only usually happens to me playing against people in Aus, other than that i only have slight lag issues, i suggest you try a few games before writing online play off, also if someone else is using internet, downloading at your end or your opponents end can also effect game play.

BTW 256 is hardly broadband. Most broadband companies here start at 5mb to 20mb connections.

You need at least a 1-5 mB connection to play online games.

i Disagree, i have been playing alot of online games recently without any lag and my connection is 512 Kbps.

I disagree as both of us being in India cant connect which is very rare.. I played with 512kbps for a few weeks and it was mostly lagging against most players outside India so i'd recommend going for 1-2mbps atleast
