The Shalin Toronto Tanks Stadium will play host to the Chennai Champions who like the Toronto Tanks haven't had a great season but have found some form of late by winning the last three consecutive matches which included wins over leaders Manchester Divided and third placed Vatican Victors. On the other hand Tanks lie at the bottom of the table and like Dublin Destroyers are virtually out of the tournament.

My batting has been pretty topsy-turvy so hopefully I can pitch in with a solid performance this match.

considering I'm the only one that does anything for TT now, there shall be no changes to this line up. It will be an uneven pitch with this line up;

Hitterman
Imran Khan
mattfb█
WestIndian
Holdenator
Ian Botham
Bilal91
Insomniac
Wasim Raja
Wolf
Brendon Hedger

Time for a change.

It's the first time I am opening the innings. My last few innings were okay but I have to perform good otherwise Mario will simply threw me:p.

Anyways, I think this time we will win this as there is a change in our team. We always play really good but we loose by a small difference. :sarcasm

CC have won the toss and chosen to bat first here @ The Shalin Toronto Tanks Stadium.
The pitch is uneven and should be difficult to bat on.

0.1 Imran Khan to Aravinda de Silva, Tucked to off side, one more. (1)
0.2 Imran Khan to Adyhorn, Good ball, he goes for the cut, it's too close to cut, he's inside edged it, and it misses the stumps by a whisker! The keeper tidies up and there is no run. Phew that was close. (0)
0.3 Imran Khan to Adyhorn, Full, wide, the batsman slashes hard and edges it through the slips! Third man tidies up and the batsmen run three. The captain decides to move the man from short fine leg to the slips, he's looking for a wicket here. (3)
0.4 Imran Khan to Aravinda de Silva, It's in the air...the fielder comes under it...will he catch it? NOOOO! He spills the chance! The batsmen come back for a third run laughing while the humiliated fielder tosses the ball back in. (3)
0.5 Imran Khan to Adyhorn, Slapped away through the offside for a glorious boundary! Lovely shot. The captain's fuming now and removes a man from third slip to cover that region. (4)
0.6 Imran Khan to Adyhorn, Good short ball, the batsman is caught off guard and top edges it high in the air! The keeper is after it...he's runs hard...and the ball lands just after him! He hurls the ball in to keep the batsman to a single. (1)

Welcome back. Toronto are in pursuit of a massive target against an in-form team on not a very good batting surface. You want to write them off, but with match winners like Botham, Khan, and more importantly, Holdenator in the side, you never know. Lets head to the pitch where Hitterman is taking guard...

0.1 Pal to Hitterman, Excellent bowling, catches the batsman off-guard with a vicious bouncer! The batsman top edges it high in the air, and the catch is taken!

A comprehensive win for Chennai there. That was painful to watch. Adyhorn and Pal with the new ball ran right through Toronto's new top-order, reducing them to 32 for 5, and from there it was really a no-contest. Ranjitsinhiji showed us his talent with the ball, as the entire Chennai bowling attack kept a tight leash on Imran Khan and Bilal, who frankly, looked like they had given up and were playing for their averages. They made a 102 run partnership, but never really threatened to win the game, even with a late flurry of boundaries. Chennai continue their rise to the top of the table, and Toronto need a strategical re-think if they want to secure a place in the Semis.
