A Finch at 11?
Reverse night watchman?! :-D
A Finch at 11?
Lmfao. I only saw that after I started the match. Could still fix that while in game though.Reverse night watchman?! :-D
Good work man![DOUBLEPOST=1550548281][/DOUBLEPOST]End of day one. Burns got out by a whopping bouncerJust had a belter of a day/night ODI. I rarely play anything but Test matches but it was a treat.
Me as Australia, Veteran AI as New Zealand. Latest sliders that I just updated in the other thread for Australia as I was at the SCG, so Dry, Soft pitch. It was decent to bat on, cut up a bit in the 2nd innings, but a good balance for bat and ball. I also used day 3 test match settings for friction and spin.
New Zealand Innings, batting first
Some tidy bowling all round. I can think of at least 6 or 7 edges that went into gaps, so the chances were there at least.
Really disappointed the AI didn’t try to kick on more with all those wickets in hand, they should have been lashing me around.
Australia Innings, batting second
I was coasting!! 163-2, needing less than 3 and over, then the wheels fell off!
When Cummins came in, I knew I had to consolidate at 176-6, then he carved a thick edge to deep cover for a duck and I thought I was sunk. I still needed over 50...
Starc to the rescue! I’ve said it a hundred times. He’s the best batsman in this game haha! His quick runs helped me put 50+ on and pretty much get me over the line. He only got out as I was trying to make sure he hit the winning runs with a big boundary!
AI definitely should have put the squeeze on me more once I only needed 3/4 an over, ring field and make me hit over the top more. Shame.
Summary
I’ll have a highlights film sometime tomorrow as well.
