I started watching cricket from 1991, and I love this game, especially as many people have worked hard to create the cricketers from 80s, 90s and so on. When I play 1 player matches, mostly in 50-overs, 300 is an okay score. I am wondering if you guys have any good sliders to change that. Eg. Mid - 90's, 250 would win you the match most of the time, while mid 80s to early 90s - 225 would be a winning score. Also it was common for teams to start cautiously, like 15 for 0 after 10 overs. I am going to try to make sliders tough for batting and easier for bowling and see if I can replicate that.
I just saw highlights of 1985 world championship final. Ravi Shastri made 63*(148), and was the player of the series in that tournament. It's crazy, how much the game has changed now. I like those nostalgia times, the rules were in favor of bowlers more, and bowlers would attack batsmen, as opposed to just defending and keeping runs down now.
