It happens in AFL and NRL, so maybe it could work in Shield cricket? It'd be interesting to see the sides, some of them would look very different to current domestic teams.

Some of those teams are quirky. Some of my selections are stupid. But it'd be interesting....

Nah, I was gonna do all the teams, but then my effort quota ran out.
 
5 changes to QLD, 4 to WA. And I still can't find 11 cricketers.

Well quality ones anyway. I could put Nathan Coulter-Nile in to WA :p
 
I don't see the point in a state of origin type thing for domestic cricket as most of the blokes in each team are local to the state anyway
