Well I agree with varun, the mods must be increased. Out of three current mods 1 is active, 1 is semi-active and 1 is rarely active in this forum. I say make more mods who are regularly active and also make more competitions/ or else increase the prize of the SOTM.

I supposed it'd be judged by the forum mods rather than based on post numbers.

I agree Mattw but mods will be able to decide when anyone of them is active. We have three mods for this sub forum but no one of them is active. Pakistan Army is not active,King Cricket is not active much in this part of the forum and Surendar is busy with office work and hence doesn't get time to be online. Administrator's need to find a new mod who they think can do a good job. So for that,they can first make that person trial mod and if they think he can do good job he should be made the mod of this sub forum. Also i think "Cricket League's" sub forum should be separated from this "Cricket games stories and strategies" sub forum. Maybe because some member's from Cricket Leagues are starting threads similar as a league which runs for 2,3 weeks and then it gets closed. I'm not sure though in the end admin's need to make the decision.

Can I request to start a League of the Month as well? This is because the story writers can live in peace. To be honest, it takes time to update a story at least for me. I see some of the stories (their writers think) are updated with much less efforts, and these are the ones which Aditya pointed out.

User, I already took an initiative and conducted it for two months when the leagues were being conducted in online games forum. And yeah, I agree with Aditya and shan. New mods must be recruited as soon as possible. summer vacation in India will start in few weeks and whole lot of new stories would start and more importantly, more spam starts coming.

@surendar - I think increasing the prize will only increase more pointless stories.

@aditya - I think you're right. Leagues should be separated from stories.That would be very fine.

I cannot see any real point in current leagues as well. At least that would stop some utter nonsense stories.

It will only result in pointless leagues my friend. Other leagues like APL,WPL will be destroyed.
Even if that LOTM is started then new mods will have to recruited and be very strict on the idea.
In SOTM, I think the step should be this that if a person has somewhat same storyline as others , it must be closed and One user should be allowed only 1 story at a while not two.

I think you haven't played in any league till now. Read WestIndian's comments on my league.Check out WPL, ICC FTP and WIPL.

Varun, I have a good idea for you to grab some prizes if you wish to. I saw your league there, and I must say it is a complete story material as some of the stories have the same thing as your league has. Why not ask a mod to move it here and get nominated in the next SOTM? The efforts you have put in that are really much more than some of the so-called writers take here.

Not actually that. A scorecard will be given and people should send their entries to the one conducting it. He'll put out them. Some good story writers would rate each and every entry. The results will be out. That can prevent from more and more stories being started for titles.
