Congrats to all the Pakistani supporters. Hats off to Pakistan on the win. Great that they won and lets hope this lifts the gloom there. They should look for some of the confidence to spill over to their Test and ODI cricket, some of which has been bordering miserable over the past couple of seasons.
We`ve had back to back all Asian finals in the T20 WC. I full expect the next one to not feature any Asian side in the semis, that is how unpredictable this format is.

Iam also not that pleased with the next T20 WC being scheduled in 9 months time. If it is to be the pinnacle of the T20 format, you must have teams and the fans waiting in anticipation for the next one. It must either be a biennial event or once every 4 years. The ICC must schedule ICC events in this order. A Champions Trophy, T20 WC and the 50-over WC all over a 3-over cycle.

And the great thing is that we won`t have much T20 cricket for sometime now. Even ODIs are now looking like pure cricket now! Time for some good ODI cricket in the Champions Trophy and some great Test Cricket in the Ashes. Bring it on!

I am really disappointed that Lanka lost after winning all the matches in the world cup.
They had practically lost the match in the first 6 overs of the match.

I had a bet with the guy, I didn't just find a whole lot of posts and laugh at every single person that predicted a English win. I don't think anyone gave Holland a chance in that game. If I did I would of had a lot of ammo.

Can' believe Pakistan won!! Afridi is the man! He has come long way in this tournament. I was surprised he didn't get player of the tournament as he had number of match winning innings...had 10-11 wickets as well, but we won so that does not matter much in the end! Great win.
