This picture is really of great quality. :clap Did you make it yourself and do you have some more of it?

What do you expect from him ZZ? Of coarse he will pick on Pakistan team and disrespect them after all the beatings we have given his overrated choking team in semi-finals :D

While posting on forums people get in discussions and understand each other's situation. This guy has been going the opposite way. I don't understand why though.

Pakistan have been beating Sri Lanka also numerous times, but most of them don't react like this. Even after their cricketers have been attacked in Pakistan, they still welcome us and we welcome them. That's how things should go.

For the people who don't know: next tour of Pakistan will be in Sri Lanka.

That picture is actually on Cricinfo.

It will be a good contest when we visit SL. Mendis didn't cause us any trouble at all in this WC, but test matches on SL pitches will be a different story.

Allright, thanks for telling. I am expecting that around the tour will be some prehype, because of all of what happened in this final and in Pakistan.

But it will be a great challenge for some players. But I don't hope they take some of the currently Twenty20 specialists.

ZexyZahid added 12 Minutes and 12 Seconds later...

I actually can't find that picture on cricinfo. Just check it yourself: Cricket Photos | Cricinfo.com

It seems that people in Pakistan have been following the match on giant screens:
Pakistan fans back home after their team's win | Cricket Photo | Cricinfo.com
Pakistan fans revel in their team's ICC World Twenty20 triumph | Cricket Photo | Cricinfo.com

I also noticed, that Pakistan has won the second (although this is Twenty20) World Cup with Intikhab Alam as coach. So he is probably a succesfull coach.

Loads of street parties in London, Green Street, Ilford Lane in East London.

Fireworks, Horns, Cars, just amazing really. What really touched me was poeple of all colours joined in the with the fun which was great to see.

As a Pakistani, Credit must go to Sri Lanka who have played there part.

Thanks boys for putting a smile back on the poeple of Pakistan, at last we have something to cheer about.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka has been suffering a lot also with their war, which has just ended. So there could have been a reason for him to smile as well. But they've made it to the final and this an accomplishment already.

And the above picture is of way better quality then cricinfo's pictures. I am going to put it for a while as my wallpaper.

They obviously weren't the better side as Pakistan clearly outclassed them with bat and ball in this match...you must really hate Pakistan lol. Credit where it's due my friend.

Sri Lanka lost 1 game during the whole tournament and it was the final. I feel for them. I don't hate Pakistan and good on them for winning, but it just shows that the best team doesn't always win. You people are unbelievable.

All right, I was surprised to see you here during the Twenty20 tournament. I thought, after you had left the Fantasy Cricket Staff, you wouldn't come back here anymore. I don't mind you coming back at all, but you've been running your mouth ever since Pakistan beat New Zealand. But at least show some respect to some other people and countries. It's time that you keep whining about it and move on. It's not Pakistan's fault, that New Zealand can't play good cricket. Although you've been picking on Pakistani cricket all the time, I still find that New Zealand has a lot of talent. They simply need to exploit it.

And you didn't have the manner of at least congratulating the Pakistani fans after all that you've said. If Sri Lanka had won the match, I wouldn't have minded it.

First - I quit the fantasy staff years ago as it was a waste of my time. I lost interest in it. That wasn't recent.

Second stop bringing up the New Zealand game. My comments have NOTHING to do with that. You should know that I run my mouth all the time by now - A loss doesn't spur that. I'm allowed to give my view on the game and i'm fully within my rights to say that SL played the better cricket throughout the tournament and deserved it more. We lost to Pakistan AND Sri Lanka you realize :/ In-fact our loss to SL is the one which put us out of the tournament. I enjoyed watching their cricket though the tournament. So please tell me why i'm not allowed to support Sri Lanka? And why do you make up a ridiculous theory that i hate Pakistan purely because we lost to them. We lose games to all teams, we beat all teams. If I hated teams purely because we lost a game then i'd not like many teams. So stop being racist towards me.

QUOTE]

One needs to understand Pakistani players have not had much Twenty20 matches before the World Cup, while Sri Lanaka's players have been involved in the IPL. Unbeaten records count for nothing if you don't win the matches which matter. Pakistan have beaten South Africa who where odds on to win it, then Sri Lanka who without a doubt have the best bowling attack.

Says the muppet who said Pakistan was a safe place to tour and any side not going there were chickens. Then weeks later half the Sri Lankan side almost died. Then because you're a chicken yourself you disappear for a while and never admit you were wrong.

Sri Lanka are a better side and deserved it more. T20 is a lottery i'm sad to say.

I dunno why you're all picking on Howsie because he made a prediction. Stop being so childish and grow a pair. Stop being sore winners.
Dude, can you even read the thread? We're not making fun of him because he made a prediction. We're making fun of him because he says that it is "morally incorrect" to make fun of others based on their predictions, when he is making fun of KP in his signature.

Honestly, this forum would be alot better if some people took an extra 10-15 seconds and actually read...

And you know what? I was gone because of the Sri Lankan attacks, but not because I was a chicken. I've already admitted I was wrong. I'm man enough to do that. But if you're going to tell me that I was gone because I was chicken, you can get out of my face. That may have been my worst month in my life, with possibly 2 hours of sleep a night. Now, if you want a thorough explanation of where I've been, what I've done, YOU'RE not going to get it. I meant to have a discussion with King Cricket and a few others from this forum about it on MSN, but that has yet to materialize.

So please, screw yourself :)

And as he explained, his quote is like that because it was a bet, the winner gets to quote it and the loser - KP had to put Guptill in his avatar etc. There's also a difference in that KP said it in a confident way - that England would never lose basically whereas you're busy quoting people who were just wrong in their game prediction. So what?

Also you use morally incorrect in speech marks. He never said that and thus it's not a quote. YOU are the one who needs to learn to read. Don't make it look as though people say things by using speech marks when they didn't.

I know he didn't say morally incorrect. Not sure why I did that... :p but I'll accept responsibility as that being a mistake and whatever crap you said.

And what did I do?

Exactly what did I do, irottev?

Gotcha.

I'm speaking as a collective to both you and Zexy. The quote should have appeared after the first bit, not sure what happened there.

And? I have nothing to do with what Zexy did.

I didn't do what Zexy did, although it would be quite possible that I would have. So hmmm, since we're talking about reading the thread.

And about your quote, excuses excuses :p
