Team Lists and Player Points

It's very true because what if you bat at 7 and have a load of innings where you come in and get about 5 not out, you aren't going to get a very good average or points score

k.Ive found a solution for not out's.Those batsman who remain not out in a game, their points would be added up in the next game(i.e till they are out).

Any chance of you changing my name to Sam Halls please sid :)

Now I hate to rain on your parade, but what happens if they don't play another game and it's the last game of the season (it will happen to at least 6 people and probably more, think about it)

I recommend that you work backwards as opposed to the way that you are working now, and if a player gets not out you change it to add it on to the last round (so if a player got 55, 70*, 10 then it would count as a 125, 10).

Main reason for this being that a player could get a 203* like a certain cricketer did the other day and it would make no difference to the next match (which could be an important game), whereas a player from the opposing team benefited from getting 110 out.

For not outs in the first week you'd have to do it your way, but from then on you might want to try my way. I understand if you don't, because it is complicated and tedious and makes me glad that I am not doing these stats. Just a thought.

In that case,if he is involved in the next season, then the avg gets added up to the first score he scores next season,or if he isnt involved anymore, then its unchanged.

Basically your method is valid but add's complication's,the current set of rules itself are tough to implement.(i.e making an editor for it)

k fair enough, as i said, i'm really glad that you're running the stats and not me :p
