The Firefox Thread.

The reason it slows down with lots of addons is because I normally have about 10 PlanetCricket tabs open as well :P With my 8 or so addons, that's 18 separate Chrome processes open. So yes, Chrome is not good on RAM management, but the sandboxing is great when you encounter a problem with Adobe Flash, etc. My Firefox runs really slow because I've got a lot of addons installed as well so :sarcasm

I've never experienced a 'page cannot be loaded' that I don't find when I try access the page on other browsers...

There's an addon for basically everything....

Firefox is great, they just need to sort out the humoungous amounts of memory it seems to occupy with around 6-7 tabs open, but doesn't free it once those tabs are closed. Its becoming almost impossible to use firefox for long periods with 1 Gig of RAM.

No way I will give thumbs up to buggy Chrome.

My suggestion for add on is FireShot if you are the one who requires screen shots of full web pages. Available for IE as well.

Anyone know how to solve the text disappearing in hotmail when you hit reply problem? Microsoft's unsurprisingly reply is "try Internet Explorer".
I reckon they pay a team just to make hotmail incompatible with firefox every few months.

I have a couple of official links with solutions but both are showing db errors atm.

Yeah, the fireshot app is awesome! Thanks for the link Sid. Already used it to outline changes needed in a website we're getting made. It's easy to understand and super effective! :)

Another add on suggestion. If you are like me dealing with various time zones around the world, then FoxClocks is add on for you.

It lets you keep an eye on the time around the world - or just your local time - by putting small clocks in your status bar.
