I think all 3 of those players have been in good form for Pura. None of them are even near the top wicket takes for the ING.
So they don't warrant selection. Bollinger deserves a shot as he has been in excellent form. His stats are better than Dorey.

Also found this interesting article where the selectors will review the side after every match. So if Lee fails he could be dropped! And all other players.

Thats interesting Williams leading the wickets taken but when was that last updated?

Look at the games played. Andy Bichel 8 games - Qld 8 games. Its the latest update. I guess Williams was good before his hissy fit.

Match is evenly poised. SL 147/4 off 31 overs, run rate requried is over 6. This partnership is the key. van der Wath and Hall have been very economical both going at just over 3 an over. Both have 1 wicket and 4 overs for the death.

Sri Lanka are nearing the target.

Sri Lanka need 29 runs in 24 balls.

What a match! My heart was pounding as if Australia were defending the target.
There was so much to like about SA.
Hall, Boucher & Van der Wath really did save the match for them!

Glad SA win! Australia still lead :D

thats really very good bowling performence by S. Africa, they was not playing well since the start of the match but finally at end they r the winners.

Good steady bowling by South Africa there, although SL really should have won from that position. Van Der Wrath looks a very good allrounder, particularly his ability to block out the pressure, though I don't think he's all that young so not a huge find for the future. angryangry, Jayawardene should definitely be up the order, he's too talented to be down so far, I agree with you there, but someone needs to close off a match and Arnold is probably the right person for that job. Yeah and good captaincy by Smith.

Great win by the South Africans. Hall, Van Der Wath and Pollock bowled brilliantly in the end. The wicket of Jaywardene by Van Der Wath was vital for SA's chances. I thought they were out of it with 10 overs left and even when Vass was in and need 18 in 2 overs i think. Van Der Wath seems like a very talented bowler and a great prospect so far in the 2 matches. Good selection by the Proteas to bring him to play in the series. He bowls very good yorkers and bowls very well at the death.

Well this win has certianly kept the series alive which is good. Next match is Aus and Sri Lanka will be vital for both teams. I reckon who ever wins on Thursday will make it in to the finals. Also think the Sri Lankans have a good chance of winning the match on Thursday. They bowled pretty well to restrict the South Africans and they also batted well until the end.

Sri Lanka should've won that.

Van Der Wath, Hall and Boucher were superb in the field. And Dippenaar did well with his 125*.

Van Der Wath is 28 atm which is okay but a good start to his international career. He still has a fair amount of years left in him and is a good prosepect for the future. He is better than Dorey and Hopes thats for sure.

Yep he is very good and true, alot of players start late. He also bats quite well despite his failing today. Gilchrist probably started his test career at about 28. Series is brilliantly poised, haven't seen this for a while.

I am happy to see that all teams have been winning in this VB Series with even SL beating the Australia (may be because of Aussie's stupid rotation policy), but its not like past years where the third team merely filled the third team's spot for the sake of it. I think Australia are strong favorites to win this series though.

Congrats to the Saffies for winning this match, Dippenaars 100 was good, the fielding from the South Africans was superb today. Hall, Van Der Wath and Pollock bowled brilliantly in the end.
