Top 5 Cricket Websites

Whether it is for news, score, stats, article, archive, photos, games, Video, commentary to name a few a cricket website goes a long way to keep a cricket fan engaged in the world of cricket.

Their are quite a few out there. But time is money for every one and their are places where High Speed may not be available and even if available it may be expensive.

So we have to make sure that we have at our fingertips the best ones with least loading time and stable as well meaning it does not crash at peak time when traffic volume is high and also cater to our specific needs.

So in the context of the above which are the five best?

I have found the following five to be real cool in terms of Live scores, News, Stats, Archive, Search, Articles Interviews, photo, Video to name a few.

1. cricinfo.com
2. cricketworld.com
3. skysports.com
4. cricketnext.com
5. cric8.com (presently the website is down)

ADD ON : beta.cricket.yahoo.com(Looks very cool).

I am sure their are many more that I am not aware of.

PC has to be there. Discussion, all the latest news, and live scores. Plus patches for cricket games, and a cricsim league! And tons of other stuff too.

There was also this site Andrew Nixon used, had more accurate stat records than Cricinfo. I forget it now...Cricket Archive or something.

CricketArchive- Super source. I do check out that for my Quizzes that I develop - not necessarily the only one though. Boy it is a Gold Mine.

King Cricket, Bladescape, MaxDillon, Dare - All my Quiz superstars : You can now answer my Quizzes within twinkling of an eye. Same for others.

Answering my Quizzes is actually not difficult. It is all about finding the right source.

I have let the Cat out of the Bag. I am in big trouble now (LOL!).

I have to figure out alternate ways to challenge readers on future Quizzes(LOL!).

The last source also includes info on Women's Cricket and Online shopping which is worth mentioning apart from the fact it has all that one needs to know about Australian cricket . A very comprehensive and cool site.

Cricket Archive. Undoubtedly a Gold mine. It is one of my many Cricket reference Sources.

It is a must for every cricket fan so far as records are concerned.
