Southee instead of Nannes or Tait? Or Ryder instead of Warner?

Ryder's done nothing in 2010, so to me he doesn't really warrant a place.
I was thinking about Southee, but in the end that would of been a bias pick putting him ahead of two of the statistically best T20 bowlers in the world, I wanted it to be as unbiased as possibly.
See normally when I do this stuff I am bias, but for a change I though I wouldn't be. ;)

Why Asia v ROW. ICC should create 3 teams; Asia+Africa, The Z's, Carribean+Euro (+ if there is any good players from South+North America)

that'd be a full house event.

Asia + Africa would have four top eight teams, as well as nine and ten...

If you wanted to make three teams Asia would have to be separate, as it has three top eight teams, plus nine.

So:

Asia (Ind, Pak, SL, Bng + Afg)
Pacific/Carribean (Aus, NZ, WI + Ber/Can/US)
Africa/Europe (Eng, SA, Zim + Irl/Ken/Nth/Sco)

At the end of the day Ajmal's strike rate of 14.3 is still only good enough on average to pick up one wicket during a four over spell, just like Vettori, Swann and Harbhajan. You can argue to the cows come home who the better spinner is but their is no denying that Vettori, Swann and to a lesser extent Harbhajan provide far more to a team then Ajmal does.

Case closed.

It would not be a bad idea to have a Sifter aka Jason style draft on this topic.
