Unplayable yorker

Sorry if this is really old but is there anyway to play that outside off/on off stuff yorker on hard mode? I get clean bowled every dam time because the defence shot just doesn't work against it. I can play the ones on leg or middle but not off ones.

You can play the advance down the pitch straight or on drive shots. Works for me.

at that kind of delivery mostly I swept the ball or played it by coming dance down the track

Can't remember if it is for C2004 or C2005, (or possibly both)...but I alwayed played the advance off drive/ cover drive. Time it right and you may get runs..but I always played it late..that way if I got bat on it it would end up as a defensive shot..but more importantly if I missed..the ball would hit the pads rather than the wicket..and I can't recall EVER being given out LBW playing this shot. The 'umps finger never went up...even though I reckon some shouts were plumb.

The above shot has served me very well over the years.!!!

At least give it a try during a friendly/non competative game that you play.

PS...NEVER play the advance STRAIGHT drive...you will nearly always get bowled if you do.
