Also, questioning moderator decisions is against the forum rules, so consider this an unofficial warning.
take it easy, no need to overreact. IMO members should have every right to question mods. I thought this is a free and fair forum? this is becoming more like ICC  :D :o

I suggest you read the forum rules then. You have absolutely no right to question moderator decisions. If you do not wish to follow the rules, then don't bother to visit the forums.

Jayadevan's rule makes more sense. It gives both teams a chance. I thought the 92 WC semifinal was a good example. Its impossible to score 22 from 2 balls.

A good example of what? The crapness of the D/L method? The World Cup 1992 semi final was before the Duckworth/Lewis method existed, so you cannot use that as an example.

Thing is, if this new method affected your team, you'd start saying that was crap too.

Im sorry if i was wrong about the D/L method in WC92. But I wouldnt mind if the other method was affecting my team. If the players are good enough then they will challenge the other team and not give it away. And for whoever that says rain helped Aus win the wc in 03, u are worng. India was just pathetic from the start. Thats all there is to it. The rain slowing the ball travelling had nothing to do with Indias loss. Sehwag was able to smash 82 in no time. Not to blame anyone, but if tendulkar had not decided to rush for the runs, India may not have lost by that much. So the rain may have helped, but it wasnt significant.

that is what i was trying to say...india were doing really bad but then at one poin they needed 11 runs to win and the rain was about to come

...like andrew said it is hip to be square er i mean u only like it when it comes into your favour

Anymore false accusations, and I will personally inform the ICC that people are posting libellous reports about them on the internet, and they may wish to see you in court.
you mean false as per YOUR opinion?
