WWE presents: Vengeance live on PPV

Enough pyro to blow the place up explodes from the set here at Vengeance where some issues will be solved forever, others may only get worse! We have all 3 world titles on the line and many more as the wrestlers get set for what should be a great night of action!

First up is the Womens Title match, a triple threat between champion Melina, enemy Candice Michelle and Jillian Hall, who won a No.1 Contender match with the help of Melina on Raw. It is certain they won't be helping each other tonight though, with the gold on the line. There is one man who might get involved, Viscera. He has found himself a job as Melina's bodyguard, so we may see him around. Lets get down to our first match of the night!

Lillian: The following contest is a Triple Threat match for the WWE Women's Championship. The first contender making her way to the ring, from Louisville, Kentucky, weighing in at 125lbs, Jillian Hall!

Jillian struts her way down to the ring to the annoying strains of her own vocals.

Lillian: And the second contender making her way to the ring, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 120lbs, Candice Michelle!

Candice makes her way to the ring, making sure she teases the male fans on the front row as much as she possibly can whilst entering the ring itself.

Lillian: And finally making her way to the ring, she is the WWE Women's Champion, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 122lbs, Melina!

The fans boo the most dominant diva in WWE down to the ring, pausing to gawp at her amazing way of getting into the ring itself.

-- WWE Women's Title Match
Melina vs Candice Michelle vs Jillian Hall

Melina hits an arm drag on Candice. Melina gets hip tossed by Jillian Ha. Candice Michelle fights out of a grapple. Back heel kick from Candice. Back heel kick from Candice. Hooks the leg : 1....2....shoulder up. Jillian Hall with an enziguri. Pin : 1....2....kick out! A split-second away from a three. Candice counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Back heel kick from Candice. Melina blasts Candice with a super kick. Candice Michelle tries to get a big slam, but it is blocked when Melina goes to the eyes! Melina quickly scores with a field-goal kick between the legs! Candice Michelle collapses! The referee didn't see the illegal blow! 1...2...3! Candice Michelle got screwed!
Match Rating: *1/2

Candice gets screwed again! Melina keeps stopping her from winning the title in the cruelest of ways and no doubt she will be claiming another shot soon after the consequences of that match.

Now lets recap the Cruiserweight title situation. Chavo Guerrero is the champion who is defending his title tonight against Super Crazy, who was drafted over to Smackdown and immediately won himself a title shot on his first night. Over recent weeks we have seen the Cruiserweights split between the men in this match, almost becoming teams. Chavo has tried his best to take Super Crazy out, but fortunately for the challenger he failed. What will go down tonight? Lets find out!

Chimel: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one-fall and is for the WWE Cruiserweight title. The challenger, making his way to the ring, from Tulancigo, Hidalgo, Mexico, weighing it an 210lbs, Super Crazy!

Super Crazy spins out onto the ramp, cloaked in a Mexican flag. He then runs down to the ring for his match.

Chimel: And introducing the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, from El Paso, Texas, weighing in at 210lbs, Chavo Guerrero!

The really loud "oooh, chavo" sounds out as the champion strolls out to the ring, taunting the crowd as he goes.

-- WWE Cruiserweight Title Match
Chavo Guerrero vs Super Crazy

Chavo hits a wicked chop. Chavo hits a massive spinning kick to the jaw. Chavo Guerrero hits a rolling kick on Crazy. Flying elbow from Chavo Guerrero. Crazy counters an avalanche with a raised foot to the face. Chavo takes a flying neckbreaker from Super Crazy. Crazy hits a high kick on Chavo Guerrero. Cover! 1....2...kick out. Chavo Guerrero hits a rolling kick on Crazy. Chavo Guerrero ducks a Crazy clothesline and does a quick roll up. Chavo has a handful of tights! The referee hasn't seen it: 1....2....3!! Chavo Guerrero leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Chavo has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Super Crazy to look for revenge.
Match Rating: ****1/2

Chavo cheats, doing what he does best. Super Crazy would be right to be angry as he stomps around the ring now, he had the chance and had it stolen off him again.

Next up is our first extreme match of the evening as finally the feud between the Originals and the New Breed comes to an end. They have fought for months now back and forth. Earlier this month Dreamer and Sandman were not working well and their relationship looked strained, but then we had the interesting development of Ric Flair joining the Originals, seemingly pulling them back together. This match will be the last match between the 2 as the losing team is forced to disband. The fight for honour is on!

Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is a 6-man tag match scheduled for one fall where the losing team will be forced to disband. Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 732lbs, the New Breed!

The 3 young, cocky members of the New Breed step out looking uncharacteristicallly focused. They know that their fate is on the line tonight.

Roberts: And their opponents, weighing in at a combined weight of 742lbs, the ECW Originals!

Together under Tommy Dreamer's music the 3 Originals make their way out, lead by Naitch, Ric Flair.

-- Losers Disband
ECW Originals vs The New Breed

Marcus kicks Ric Flair in the gut to reverse the momentum. Fallaway slam by Marcus Cor Von. Tag to Matt Striker. Striker hits a spinning back kick. Flying knee to the face from Matt Striker. Cover! 1....2....kick out at the last second! Striker looks shocked. Striker hits a dropkick on Ric Flair. Striker tags out to Elijah Burke. Burke hits a right hand. Marcus bodyslams The Sandman. Sandman reverses a waistlock. The Sandman moves in for the kill. Here it comes - White Russian Leg Sweep. 1....2...3, it's finished.
Match Rating: ***

The Originals have it! They take the victory and the New Breed are finished! The crowd goes crazy as the Originals celebrate their success by climbing the turnbuckles. Sandman got the pin and celebrates, turning to the fans on all sides until he bumps into Dreamer stood behind him. He seems somewhat annoyed, although he does raise Sandman's hand. There is something not right there, we will have to see what.

Let's take a look at the WWE Tag Team picture. Deuce and Domino took the titles at ONS last month from London and Kendrick, setting up a situation between those teams. Then Cade and Murdoch were both drafted to Smackdown on the same night at the draft and instantly set their sights on the gold too. After numerous matches and brawls, Theodore Long decided a 3 way was the only way it could be done, setting up the situation we see tonight where DnD could not be pinned, but still lose the belts!

Chimel: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is a triple threat tag team contest for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 385lbs, Paul London and Brian Kendrick!

The pairing of cruiserweights make their dash to the ring. Quickest entrance in WWE.

Chimel: And now making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 501lbs, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch!

Former Raw superstars make their somewhat slower way down to the ring, looking determined to win more gold.

Chimel: And now introducing the WWE Tag Team Champions, accompanied by Cherry, ar a combined weight of 465lbs, Deuce and Domino!

The retro music blares out as the 1950s saloon rolls into the arena carrying the 3. With titles strapped around them they taunt the crowd and their opponents on their way to the ring.

-- WWE Tag Team Title Match
Deuce and Domino vs London and Kendrick vs Cade and Murdoch

Second rope flying axe handle, Deuce goes down. London hits a massive spinning kick to the jaw. London tags out to Brian Kendrick. Kendrick uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Deuce takes a hurrancarana. Tag to Paul London. London and Kendrick whip Deuce into the corner. Paul London whips Brian Kendrick in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Pin : 1....2....no! Shoulder up at the last second. Deuce tags out to Domino. London gets squashed in the corner with a clothesline. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues. Tag to Lance Cade. Lance Cade hits some punches. Tag between Domino and Brian Kendrick. Powerslam from Lance Cade. Tag to Trevor Murdoch. Trevor DDTs Brian Kendrick. Hooks the leg : 1....2....shoulder up! That was close. Kendrick tags out to Domino. Hard slam by Domino. Hooks the leg : 1....2....shoulder up. Tag to Lance Cade. Lance Cade turns Domino inside-out with a clothesline. Domino gets knocked to the ground by Cade, who is already climbing the turnbuckle. Off the top - Lariat Clothesline, forget about it. 1....2...3!
Match Rating: ***

Cade and Murdoch are new champions! They lift their gold aloft in the ring as they win the titles on Smackdown.

We are onto the Intercontinental title match next and one that looks very interesting. Since Santino's debut he has looked like a good wrestler, winning this title on his first night after being picked out of the crowd! Since then he has lost his title back to Shelton and this could be his last chance in a while to take it back, with a match booked for tomorrow night to decide the challenger for next month's Great American Bash.

Lillian: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The challenger, weighing in at 227lbs, from Paterson, New Jersey by way of Calabria, Italy, Santino Marella!

Santino gets a good cheer as the fan from Italy heads to the ring seeking to regain his Intercontinental championship.

Lillian: And now introducing the WWE Intercontinental Champion, from Orangeburg, South Carolina, weighing in at 245lbs, Shelton Benjamin.

Complete with sunglasses and title belt, Shelton strolls to the ring in a cocky, totally uninterested manner.

-- WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Shelton Benjamin vs Santino Marella

Shelton Benjamin strikes Marella. Shelton uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Shelton suplexes Santino Marella. Flying knee to the face from Shelton Benjamin. Santino Marella can barely stand. Here it comes - T-Bone Suplex. 1....2...3, it's finished. Shelton Benjamin gives a murderous look toward Santino Marella...and attacks! Marella gets dropped to the canvas, then battered with a barrage of rights and lefts. Shelton leaves the ring having left Marella down and out.
Match Rating: ***

Santino gets beaten down and appears to be in some pain. Paramedics head down to the ring to deal with him.

We are up to the first of our World Title matches and we start with some extreme action. Lashley defends his title against a new extremist in King Booker. These 2 have a history from back on Smackdown where they met in the King of the Ring finals, leading to King Booker's crowning. Since coming to ECW, Booker has found himself feuding with Lashley once again, this time for the ECW title.

Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the ECW Heavyweight Championship. The challenger, accompanied by Queen Sharmell, from Houston, Texas, weighing in at 253lbs, King Booker!

His majesty elagantly strides to the ring alongside his beautiful queen, crown and cape worn.

Roberts: And now the ECW Heavyweight Champion, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, weighing 273lbs, the Dominator, Bobby Lashley!

The heavily muscled champion of extreme heads down to the ring confidently with title belt round his waist.

-- ECW Heavyweight Title Match
Bobby Lashley vs King Booker

Booker receives some punishment. Booker gets slammed. Running knee lift from Bobby Lashley. Big backdrop on Booker, executed well. Lashley drops an elbow...but misses. Running knee lift from King Booker. Powerslam from King Booker. Cover! 1....2...kick out. Bobby Lashley reverses a hip toss. Powerslam from Bobby Lashley. Cover! 1....2...kick out. Bobby Lashley turns Booker inside-out with a clothesline. Pin : 1....2....no! Shoulder up at the last second. Booker counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face. Lashley receives some punishment. Lashley powers out of a headlock. Flying shoulder tackle by Lashley sends Booker to the mat. King Booker is in trouble. Here it comes - Running Powerslam. 1....2...3, it's finished. King Booker goes nuts, screaming and yelling at everyone within earshot.
Match Rating: ****

Lashley successfully defends, but given Booker's reaction I would say it is a safe bet he isn't going to let this one go easily. Expect this to continue.

The WWE title picture is an crowded one and Cena will have to watch his back and others in order to defend his title. Both Batista and Henry were drafted to Raw and were in a heated feud when they arrived, whilst Orton was looking to make himself the contender to the WWE title after the departure of the Great Khali. Henry won a No.1 Contender match, but cheated to do so which GM Rocky would not allow, instead making the 4-way match we have today.

Lillian: The following contest is a Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Championship. First, making his way to the ring, from Silsabee, Texas, weighing in at 392lbs, the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry!

Henry walks slowly, as always down to he ring, screaming at cameras and small children and displaying his enormous size.

Lillian: Now making his way to the ring, from Washington D.C., weighing in at 290lbs, the Animal, Batista!

Batista heads out to "I Walk Alone" and crouches to perform his taunt as the pyro blasts around him. The former World Heavyweight Champion looks ready for gold.

Lillian: And the next opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245lbs, Randy Orton!

"Burn in my Light" plays as the brash 3rd generation superstar steps out through the pyro and poses for the crowd.

Lillian: And now introducing the WWE Champion. From West Newbury, Massachusetts, weighing in at 240lbs, John Cena!

"Time is Now" blasts out as the crowd rise up, screaming and shouting. Cena runs out and plays to the crowd with his spinning title belt.

-- WWE Heavyweight Title Match!
John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Batista vs Mark Henry

John Cena hits some punches. Big backdrop on Batista, executed well. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues. Cena only gets knees on a splash. Big kick from Henry. John Cena charges, Henry moves, the referee gets knocked out! Mark Henry turns Cena inside-out with a clothesline. Cover, but there's no one to count for Mark Henry. John Cena takes a right hand to the temple from Henry. Henry only gets knees on a splash. Hard slam by Orton. Back elbow connects, Henry staggers backward. Mark Henry powers out of a Randy Orton headlock. Orton gets squashed in the corner with a clothesline. Henry DDTs Randy Orton. Henry charges at Batista and knocks both of them out of the ring, where they both brawl on the floor. John Cena with a spinning neckbreaker on Orton. John Cena turns Orton inside-out with a clothesline. Randy Orton is in trouble. FU!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!
Match Rating: ***1/2

Cena overcomes the odds again and defends the title! Batista and Henry are still brawling and obviously haven't realised the match is over

Our Main event is up next, for the World Heavyweight title. Kane was named as the contender on an edition of the Cutting Edge and he has been scaring Edge ever since. Edge did win the right to name the match type for tonight, though. He made the surprising choice to go for Falls Count Anywhere, does the Rated R Superstar have a plan?

Chimel: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time for our Main Event! The following contest is scheduled to be a Falls Count Anywhere match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The challenger, from Parts Unknown, weighing in at 326lbs, the Big Red Machine, Kane!

"Slow Chemical" hits and the stage lights up in fire as the demonic Kane steps out. Once in the ring he creates further fire from the turnbuckles.

Chimel: And now introducing the World Heavyweight Champion, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 240lbs, the Rated-R Superstar, Edge!

"You think you know me" is whispered out as Edge's music plays and the champion heads out, taunting the crowd.

-- World Heavyweight Title Match
-- Falls Count Anywhere
Edge vs Kane

Kane takes a headbutt from Edge. Kane eats a trash can. Edge slams Kane down. Fallaway slam by Edge. Kane reverses a hip toss. Kane hits Edge with a plastic dinosaur. Massive backbreaker, Edge got planted. Cover! 1....2...kick out. Edge pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Kane walks into a spike slam. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues. Edge DDTs Kane. Pin : 1....2....no! Shoulder up at the last second. Edge only gets knees on a splash. Kane slams Edge. They brawl to the outside and into the crowd. Hard right hand connects, Edge falls to the concrete floor. Cover! 1....2...kick out. Kane with a headbutt on the outside. They wind up back in the squared circle. Edge backdrops Kane out of a piledriver attempt. Bodyslam by Edge. A man comes running down the aisle and into the ring! Kane turns around. The man spins Kane around, he hits the Modified STO! He then leaves the ring, the damage done! Cover! 1....2....3! Ring the bell. Edge pinned Kane. Another guyl now comes to the ring, but Kane goes on the rampage, firing off stiff shots to all 3 men, who take the hint and swiftly leave the ring for their own safety.
Match Rating: ****

Who are these people who have interfered for Edge, why have they done it? Whatever it is, Edge has won the match and left Kane seething in the ring. We finish with glances of the 3 winners in this match, closing with the image of Edge holding his title aloft.

Raw Preview

Vengeance has come and gone and the situation we are left with is just as exciting and unpredictable as the one we had before.

John Cena put in a massive effort to retain his WWE Championship in a Fatal 4-Way match with not just some of the biggest and most fearsome men in the business, but where he didn't even need to be pinned to lose the title. Randy Orton seemed to be the opponent in that match most concerned with the title, will he continue to persue it?

In that Championship match, Batista and Mark Henry got preoccupied outside the ring in a brawl. Tensions between the 2 men have escalated, starting when they were on Smackdown and continuing as they both were drafted to Raw. Surely it is only a matter of time before the tension explodes. Batista has a match this week where he faces Charlie Haas.

Shelton Benjamin defended his Intercontinental title against Santino Marella at the PPV. This week we have the match announced by The Rock last week, Jeff Hardy vs. Hardcore Holly for the No.1 Contendership to the Intercontinental championship. Who will get their chance at the champ?

Candice Michelle was cheated again by Melina after she used an illegal blow to pick up the victory and retain her title. Candice is certain to want revenge, but will she be able to get it? She faces the third woman in that match, Jillian Hall, in a match this week.

Nick Dinsmore has been creating a storm as he, formerly known as Eugene, revealed that his mental disabilities were just an act and that he had conned everyone to get into the WWE. He then took out WWE legend "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. He has a match this week against Matt Hardy.

Plus, Mr. McMahon has announced that he will be at Raw this week. The presence of the Chairman always means something big, what will happen when he arrives on Monday Night.

Confirmed Matches:
