2 good teams there, but I fear England might be too strong. I'm not going to write you off just yet though. I think your batting is a bit weak though.

Yeah I agree with Jaz, a paragraph or 2 would be nice. If you look at Jaz's story in particular and just see what he writes about when he posts the teams. Still, very neat presentation. kiu!

West Indies VS England
1st Test Match

West Indies have been Abusive all round. The Media Put the New Squad of The West Indies as one of the worst ever. Without any experience Keepers of Ramdin Or Baugh. West Indies haven't chosen an experiences Keeper Like Fletcher.
As for the Batting, Beside Gayle, Sarwan and Chanderpaul, the other Batsman have less experiences with the Bat in International Levels. Even in First Class Player like Parchment, Fletcher, Marshall and the Bowlers all Avg Less than 30, While Debutant D Richard Avg just 37.

We will have to wait and See If the West Indies Selector have chosen the right team.
Here is the Line up of both Team for the 1st Test Match.

West Indies: C Gayle (Cap), B Parchment, R Sarwan, S Chanderpaul, D Richard, X Marshall, A Fletcher, L Baker, S Benn, J Taylor and F Edwards.

England: A Strauss (Cap), A Cook, K Pieterson, I Bell, O Shah, M Prior, M Vaughan, R Sidebottom, M Panesar and M Hoggard.

Condition: A very beautiful Sunny and we should have a Good Days of Play with No interruption.

Toss: England Captain A Strauss won the toss and Selected to bat.

Session 1.


England Off to a Good start.
With A Strauss Plays Some great shot to move Him into 50, With out doubt, Strauss have Had confidence from Ball one, He have played his Shots all around the Park.

Both Strauss and Cook had Brought Up a Great Partnership, As they Leave the West Indies Shattered as they Move Pass 100 without loss, nearing Lunch Break. England were at the top, hitting West Indies Bowler all around.

West Indies got there 1st wicket 2 Over Before Lunch
A Mix up between Cook and Strauss for the 2nd Run, had Cost Cook his Wicket.
Cook was run out for 45 Runs.
As England Loses there first wicket at 109.

Kevin Pieterson came to Replace Him.

So At Lunch England Finish off at 113/1
With A Strauss on 63 and K Pieterson on 4.

West Indies had No Luck Today.
J Taylor bowled 8 over for 22.
F Edwards Bowled 8 over for 35
S Benn Bowled 8 Over for 30
L Baker bowled 8 over for 26.

England have easily had the better of the first session with neither Taylor nor Edwards bowling well enough, as they need to lead the attack. Strauss is settled now and looks to be aiming for his century with Pietersen supporting him. Cook made a decent score and was unlucky to get out just before lunch.

West Indies Exit the Pavilion looking very disappointed with the first Session.
Hopefully this 2nd Session they could do better.

England Continue to Dominate this Session. As Taylor and Edwards couldn't get the right Ball. Pieterson and Strauss are starting to build there partnership.

A Big Miss For the West Indies, As Pieterson Hit the ball straight back to Edward, Edward got his hand to it, but was unlucky as the Ball just fell out of his hand. Pieterson was Lucky there as he Played one of most aweful shot of the day.

J Taylor Finally Strikes as he Remove A Strauss for 75.
A Strauss Misjudge the ball, which swing in the air and was beaten the Pace, as he got his Middle Stump knock out of the Ground.
England are now 148/2

I Bell Comes out to Bat.

Yet Another Wicket for the West Indies.
As I Bell also was fool by a swinging bowl by F Edwards.
I Bell Bowled for 10.
As England is starting to slide after a Great start
They are now 171/3

L Baker and S Benn Replace F Edwards and J Taylor.

It's a Turn around, West Indies Strikes again.
It seem the ball is doing something out there, As the ball turn in the air as O Shah mistime it, and edge it to the Keeper off the Bowling of Benn. He goes for 8.

England Is starting to Fall here as they are 187/4.

K Pieterson 47 need some support now, As M Prior comes to bat.

K Pieterson Cover Drive Baker for 4 which bring up his 50 runs

Where England is Concern, they would want K Pieterson to score a ton here, to have them in a Great position.

England started to Rebuild a Partnership. With Pieterson and M Prior Play safe and stroke some good shots.

What a Wicket for West Indies.
L Baker Got Pieterson LBW for 66.

England are now Struggling as they loses there 5th Wicket for 217.
As M Vaughan comes to the Bat.

M Vaughan and M Prior play out the rest of the over to Tea.

227 at Tea is a good score one day one. But the 5 wickets lost are tooo much. Hope Prior and Vaughan can score some runs or dont lose wickets. WI have come back well they are bowling good. KUTGW . Just resize the images to a smaller size as by internet takes some time to load them.

England 6th Pair M Vaughan and M Prior , played around with the Ball, trying to get in.
West Indies find it hard to break this Partnership.

Gayle Decided to Bring on 2 spinners in the Attack, himself and Sarwan.

Gayle Strikes in his 3rd Over as he got rid of M Prior for 43.
He was Clean up with a misjudge ball from Gayle as it hit him on the pad. and the Fingers of the umpire Rise up.

England are now 268/6.
As Sidebottom come to bat.

Yet another Wicket Falls for England.
This time the bowler is Sarwan, he bowled a good ball which Sidebottom miss and Sarwan got him LBW for 5.

England are now 275/7.

Gayle Decided to bring back his Strike Bowler to clean up the End. As Taylor came back into the attack.

1st Over for Taylor, he pick up the wicket of M Vaughan. He was LBW by a quick Ball from Taylor. He goes for 35.

As England Good Innings looks like it's coming to an end, as they are now 291/8.

Yet another Wicket for Taylor in the same Over.
He got Harmison out LBW for 2.

West Indies just need 1 wicket to finish up England Innings.

Sarwan toke up the Last wicket as M Panesar goes for 9.

England Lead by 302.

West Indies Will need to Perform Good to get this total.

West Indies are 17 with out Loss at the end of the Day.
and Will be Hopin to get a good start off tomorrow, chasing England 1st Innings Score of 302.
