WINDIES FALL DEEPER INTO TROUBLE AS HINDS DEPARTS

This time it was Paul Rofe who claimed the wicket. Hinds, looking to score more quickly tried to smash Rofe out of the park but only got an edge straight to gully. It took one of the catches of the season to dismiss him, Smith dived to his left and took a one handed beauty to give South Australia the advantage

END OF DAY 1

Richie Benaud: Well, we have had a very exciting days play here today. First we saw some thrilling batting from Smith and Ferguson. Then the brilliant comeback from the Windies to roll SA for just 240 on a good flat surface. And now we have seen some awsome bowling from SA, particularly from Gillespie and Rofe towards the end of the session. I would have to say that the Redbacks have controll of the game, The Windies picked a strong bowling lineup which relied upon the top order batsmen all scoring runs. Now they have to rely on the middle order and bowling all rounders which does not look good for the Windies. They need to keep their heads down and work because the redbacks are almost certianly gunna come out firing tomorrow. So until then goodbye from the Adelaide oval

DAY 2 BEGINS

Richie: Hello everybody and welcome back to the Adelaide oval where we saw some riveting play yesterday. The team are already on the feild with the WI score standing at 66/3. They are chasing 240. Hinds played well for his 35 but both Lara and Gayle failed to put their mark on the scoreboard. Now Chanderpaul and Sarwan have the West Indies fate in their hands. A good solid partenership is needed to make a competative total. Now we are ready for the first ball of the 2nd days play...

HORRIBLE START, LEHMANN CLEAN RIPS CHANDERPAUL

Darren Lehmann broke through just 3 overs into todays play. He bowled a brilliant over of slower delviery's then a much quicker delivery which completely fooled chanderpaul into playing a sweep shot. The ball bounced over his bat and whacked into his off stump. Now the Windies are almost out of the contest

WINDIES THROW AWAY CHANCE

The Windies staged a mini comeback in the partnership between Samuels and Sarwan. It carried them from 71/4 to 126/4 before Samuels lost his head and threw away his wicket. He attempted to smash the ball out of the ground but completely screwed it up and lobbed it straight to mid-on. It was off the bowling of Cullen. The Windies will have to show their best to get anywhere near the Redbacks score.

Thanks alot MWaugh :cheers

Those scorecards look awesome as blue.

Windies definitely in big trouble. They were in the box seat. Now its even stevens.

WINDIES LOOSE BROWNE

Courtney Browne. the last recognized batsman before the tail has been snapped up by Gillespie. He was always troubled by his swing and pace and it was only a matter of time before he edged and outswinger straight to first slip. The Windies should now almost certainly be going out to feild still trailing, It is just a question of how much by.

Yeah, Still there have been a few lucky dismissals for me (Gayle, Samuels)

Glad you like the scorecards :)

SARWAN BRINGS UP 50

Sarwan is one of the few West Indians who has performed with the bat, Infact he is about the only one. Sarwan has played tough and skilled cricket and deserves his half century. Unfortunately it is no where near enough to worry the South Australian's.

SARWAN FALLS FOR A MAGNIFICENT 70

Sarwan played the gutsiest innings of the match, He had partner's falling all around him but he kept his cool and made a well earned 70 before being adjudged LBW. The decision has caused much controversy (look for youself) as to wether it was hitting leg or missing. The Windies are now 174/7
