Windows XP SP3 now on Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center

Did you had to format your PC for installation ? and do programs run on this.

I just installed it as a update and everything is fine. All my programs are running in sp 3

So they'll keep making games XP compatible until 2014? I don't want to upgrade to Vista yet, it seems to have some problems with gaming and it's far too expensive to boot!

Actually its MOSTLY not games incompatible, its the drivers....

But yes, atleast for another 2 years you'll see games XP supported. I can't really say after that. I don't want to be someone like Bill gates who said some years ago "640kb of RAM ought to be enough for anyone ever".

I think it was 64Ks of memory. Try telling that to modern computers.

SP3 incresed my pc's startup and turn off speed
