In 2008/9 he played 5 games, made 289 runs at 38.42 and took 10 wickets at 17.40 in FC cricket. He's only played 2 Domestic List A games in Australia, but did average 90 in the series against Pakistan and 41 in the series against West Indies, with a bowling average of 19 in the West Indies. LOL. Noffke. He doesn't average 3 50's a year either. He has 18 fifties in 11 years of domestic cricket. Pretty sure that doesn't work out at 3 a year. Watson has 34 scores of 50+ in 9 years. That's 3.8 fifties a year. Watson's got far more hundreds in less games than Noffke as well. Watson's a far better batsman than Noffke will ever be. He's only averaging 28 in the County Championship for example, even less in OD cricket, and he's averaging 45 with the ball.

I'm not exactly talking about his whole 11 years... Hence me only doing from 2006 for Watson. Noffke was the second top wicket taker in the 06/07 seaosn and scored over 400 runs at about 40 odd. Watson on the other hand took 7 wickets and averaged 31 with the ball. Wow, isn't it great to have someone like him in the Australian team. Really deserves that one.

He scored 2 50's in the 08/09 season as well as 3 40's (including for Worcestershire this season). 4 fifties in the 07/08 season as well as another 3 forties and a ton. Another 4 50's in the 06/07 season. Noffke has made 6 ducks (1 less then Watson) in the same time frame (except Noffke has batted a ton more innings.)

10 fifties in 3 years including 1 ton. Then look at Watsons batting stats. That's over 3 fifties a season.

He has 7 5fers (3 of those 6fers) in that same time period of 06 to 09 (including his time in England) 7 more 4fers and probably about 15 3fers. Too many to count.

He is an allrounder. Look at the stats above. Pretty sure he waas the 5th top run scorer or something and 2nd top wicket taker in the 06/07 season.
