Man, that was an annihilation. I was away at an event but was able to follow via Cricbuzz. Ravindra and Mitchell made it seem very easy.

Is this New Zealand's World Cup? Parallels with Australia 2015 from early on-the 1st game captained here by Latham, for Australia it was done by Bailey...

Let's hope the good form continues. A cracker to set the tone. England will have to pick up the pieces and regroup soon.

I made the initial post but I wanted to add a lot more to that; thought I'd separate the thread in case anyone else wants to contribute.

- England will have an absolute stinker of a World Cup
- Pakistan will finally beat India in a 50-over World Cup
- The Netherlands will upset at least one of England, South Africa or Australia
- The Netherlands will finish higher than Afghanistan and Bangladesh
- New Zealand and Pakistan and India and Australia will make up the final four
- New Zealand and Pakistan will play the final in front of a raucous 60K crowd in Ahmedabad
- New Zealand will win the World Cup for the first time in their history
