I've never been hit on the helmet, I've been hit on the stomach a few times and on the thigh. I'm quite suprised that I've never been hit on the helmet as the local nets I go to have really Unpredictable bounce.

My Puma Helmet. When I was playing WK I got knocked on the head by the batsman's bat while he was trying to play a BF Drive.(I got Issues with BF Shots)
