Zimbabwe Domestic Cricket

I can't see the strike ending any time soon. Lays will withdraw their offer, and the ICC can't be silly enough to give Zimbabwe cricket money. They haven't provided them any information that they've asked for.

I can see Ireland beating us, even after struggling in West Indies domestic competition. :/

I notice on Cricinfo that there are apparently 2 games scheduled for tomorrow, will be interesting to see if they go ahead...

@swirler Looks like Graeme Cremer has decided to focus on his golf! Shame as I thought he was a very talented cricketer.

both matches have started which is good. Haven't heard about players being paid though. :/

There is talk of the ICC paying-out all Zimbabwe's debts. I don't know if it's true or not.

I had heard about Cremer, I wish him all the best, for his golfing career. :)

I'm guessing they have been paid otherwise they wouldn't have played.

A solid start for your team @swirler

Tino Mawoyo looks set for a big score, very good 4/5 day batsman.

Do you know if Nathan Waller is eligible to play for Zimbabwe? Because I remember reading somewhere that he was looking to play elsewhere, Ireland possibly? I've been impressed by him so far.

Mawoyo spending plenty of time at the crease. :p

I think Nathan Waller is eligible to play for Ireland now. He seams proud of being a Zimbabwean, but thinks there is better opportunities for him, playing for Ireland or County Cricket. He played a game for Derbyshire 2nd XI last season and did well, so he'll be hoping to get more opportunities this season.

Great to see Wellington playing his first game, can't wait to follow a match with all three brothers. ;)

So Zimbabwe is back ??

They were never gone.

5 wickets and a handy 33 runs so far for Wellington Masakadza in his first class debut, impressive :)
