I'm just saying that he quoted a post by pak_cricketer regarding technique, I don't argue otherwise. (In other words I'm asking why quote him?)

Regarding that Sehwag doesn't have the technique to score runs outside the subcontinent - but he has!

The Monk gets it done! This was his 5th score of 200+? He's already matched Dravid in that regard and gone ahead of Tendulkar, I believe.

Shewag is just like Afridi, he cannot be trusted but Smith is a performer :)

Afridi doesn't even dream of scoring double centuries.

Comparing Sehwag to Afridi is just wrong. I would attempt to convince you further but if you are comparing Sehwag to Afridi, then there is not much I could say that would make you see the light.

One thing that Sehwag does is that he makes world class batsman look obsolute and foolish. Smith doesn't do that. The current test against SL, at the MCG in 2003, etc. etc. Actually there's an article on how Sehwag is quite often let down by the middle order. The thing that makes him look like a slogger is the way he gets out. A flashy cut or a flashy drive. To open with Hayden i'd pick Smith because you need an accumulator with a powerhouse. Sehwag's a powerhouse in his own right (and a fantastic one to). However, overall i pick Sehwag. The Adelaide hundred often slips from the indian fan's memory.

I can't imagine Sehwag making a match winning 4th innings hundred like this for India. Smith has done it for South Africa.

Both Sehwag and Smith have played arguably the best innings of their respective careers in the past couple of days.

Smith was out twice and his innings has hardly been faultless. In all honesty, our bowlers lack of spine and inability to be ruthless have made it seem a lot better than it actually was. Obviously it was a class innings and I don't want to come accross as bitter, but it won't go down as one of those special all time great innings.

Yup, deserves all the accolades and all that, but not as good as Sehwag's. England's bowling was very flat after tea and Smith didn't have all of his teammates falling over around him.

Smith has much more class than Sehwag, that's why he is one of the best captain today :)

Team India cannot trust ??as in Test he goes with a strike rate of over 100 and has scored 2 times 300+ and a recent 200 !! this isn't enough to trust him for a match?

Smith is a captain he has to play the captains innings !! and Sehwag as always gives India a great start.. and ends with a strike rate of 100+ in short he makes quick runs in less balls as Needed in T20 but for him all form is T20 you can't stop him if he gets Started just see his Performance in coming CT !

and it's stupid to compare Sehwag to Afridi ..!! Afridi is in pathetic form but who knows his 100+ in 37 balls!i will come back :)

I don't have any idea what u people are upto ? Sehwag is far better than Smith . If u guys remember the record of Sayeed Anwar 194. Only sehwag can beat this as he is the only person with that calibar and stamina. Its not easy to put double and triple centuries in test matches. But he is doing and doing in style. Just look at strike rate of all those innings. India can surely rely on him.
