McCullum did hit 166 in an ODI against Ireland, in that match he looked set to go and get 200... His OD and ODI highest score are higher than his FC and Test high scores.

Geeze, I know he's a quality player but didn't know he had it in him to get a 200 in an OD.

The lad's class. Going to be the next big thing. Averaged 60 an 54 in the last 2 seasons of FC cricket, has that double hundred in OD cricket against Leicestershire, and also scored a few more OD hundreds. The best I saw last season came in the Pro40 which was shown on Sky. He came in 1-143, when at which point Gallian already was 50*, and Bopara still beat Gallian to a hundred. He ended up making 112 off 59 balls, with some superb sixes, 7 of them. Made those runs against Langeveldt, Doshi and Wagg as well, 3 decent OD bowlers. He took 4/52 in the match as well.

If Ravi's given the chance to establish himself at the top of the order in ODi cricket he's got a chance to make a double hundred. If he gets going, good luck stopping him, one of the most naturally talented batsmen I've seen for a while in England.

Benaud said Gilchrist would be the first. He had his chance against Zimbabwe but threw it way making a disappointing 172. :noway

And on ICC he once made 199*.

Tendulkar was on 166 I think against NZ earlier this year and retired hurt with seven overs to go, he would of been in with a good chance. The players most likely to get it would be Sehwag, or maybe Yuvraj Singh if he came in early enough.

It can be Imran Nazir if he will play sensibly.

Sehwag rarely makes it past the 20 over mark, and when he does he tones it down a lot and plays the anchor role. It won't be him.

sachin got cramp when he got 163 * Vs nz this year. that time still 8 overs are left. I think sehwag has capability so as AB devilliers

ABD is a good pick. I want to back Dilshan as well if he starts opening in ODIs.
