Mahendra Singh Dhoni -

Herschelle Gibbs -

Chris Gayle -

Dhoni, statistically speaking, would be the best bet.

Out of all those Gayle and Gibbs are the only openers and Gibbs is just about done.
Dhoni could if he opened but now he is stuck in the middle order. Gayle and Sachin are behind Jayasuriya for the most 150+ scores in ODIs. I know Gayle has 3 150+ scores, my money is still on Gayle.

India seem to be the likely team to do this. I mean;

Yuvraj
Sachin
Sehwag
Dhoni.

Gibbs has had by far the best chance of it yet. 20 overs and 25 more runs!

I don't really believe it has to be an opener. When even a player batting at 3 or 4 comes in a bit early and gets going, it is possible.

Sehwag on a good day IMO would get it. No Aussie boys can really get it.

Hamilton Mazakadza? 9 overs in and he's 34* off 29.
