I wouldn't try reading between the lines in the writeup since it's already mentioned that it was just for flavour. However, I do like that this is a closed setup. It's been a while since we've had one.

Don't know what to make of Day 1 so far. There have been some very unusual posts to say the least. Kind of makes me feel that one or more users have some min post count condition that they are simply trying to achieve. Can't really think of any other reason for those unhelpful content/posts tbh.

Come I'll explain the logic behind why a no lynch on day 1 sounds scummy and just not good general mafia game tactics.

Town has a 3 in 9 chance (assuming 3 mafias irt the amount of players for a decent setup) in lynching correctly while the scum have a 100% chance (in the likelihood town have PR's and they miss their intended targets - which is highly likely) in killing a townie Night 1 as they already know who is town.

33.3% Town vs 100% Mafias

Why would you throw away your 33.3% chance of correctly lynching a scum away for a no lynch? That's just dumb play if you are a townie!

You will argue that lynching day one also have a 66.6% chance of mislynching a fellow townie - Aye , correct, but I'd rather risk the 33.3% chance of lynching scum correctly.

I get you are new to mafia games. But lynching on day 1 is to apply pressure on the other person. In your case lynching me has no effect.

I have tried to be neutral thus far and haven't called out for lynching anyone. There's not enough evidence as yet to claim lynching for someone. Only a scum would want lynching without enough evidence!

This is going to be the same old PlanetCricket Mafia game. No one wants to talk. Active scum hunting is deemed as scum.... Ffs games here are so frustrating and the worst is non of the experienced players want to up their game, try anything new.... Wish some older players would go and play on Mafia Universe and other sites a bit, because nothing here will change if the older players don't change.
