Another great game! Lots of holes within the Indian setup that needs plugging before the T20 World Cup (although hopefully the conditions in Australia will have a good balance between defending a total and chasing a total ; UAE has been absolutely lop sided in terms of chasing that its impossible to defend a total against a half-decent side). India are OUT of this tournament logically and I cant see Pakistan losing to SL or AFG. Seeing the way its been going, India will lose to AFG if we lose the toss in that match. Thats how this tournament is panning out.

Pant needs to be dropped for the WC. If they need a left hander in the mix, I would bring in Ishan Kishan. He can also open the innings with Rohit and that gives us the license to keep Rahul out and play DK. With Jadeja not likely to play the WC, Axar needs to play over Hooda. He can bowl in PP too if needed. Ashwin has a good chance of playing in the WC considering his experience/skill/his improving hitting prowess. I was hoping Hooda will be given overs but if he's not bowling, he is not needed.

Arshdeep yet again bowled a champion’s last over. He’s one-dimensional indeed like Natarajan but if we can find a powerplay specialist (or have Bhuvi just bowl three upfront with Bumrah in too) there’s a role for him I suppose.

Kusal made an interesting point that him and Nissanka are not power hitters but they just tried to find the gaps and be positive throughout. Feel like Rohit and Pant apart no one else tried that in the Indian side today.
