Release Notes

  • This is a VERY early release, just up for testing. It has many features missing, and of course might be full of bugs, but that is the very purpose of this release. Please report any bugs in this thread.

How to Use
This time around makign a mod is a bit different. If you want to make a mod file, you first have to import the necessary files IN your game's BIG archive first, using the BIG editor. So in a way you manually install it for yourselves first.

Then, onto the program. After filling in normal info you're presented with a screen, a text box, and two buttons. You have to open the BIG Editor(Not the one bundled), go to the file, and copy the file path the editor shows when you open that file. Paste that file path in the Mod Manager and click "Add" to add the file. Keep on adding how many files you want to this way. Then Click Done when you're done adding files. A save file dialog will come up, put in your filename, and tada, the mod has been generated!

To install a mod is pretty straightforward, open the program, click on Open Mod, navigate to the Mod file in the dialog, and click on it. Pretty straightforward from there on.

Credits
Credits must go out to AbBh, who first of all added the Command Line interface in the final version of the BIG editor, something that was essential for the foundation of this program. I'm also bundling the BIG editor with this program, so again thanks to AbBh for providing his permission.

Important - Please do NOT rename the file "BIGE.exe" that comes with the Mod Manager.
Important - Please make sure you have .NET framework 4.0 installed, along with the J# runtimes, for the program to work. You can find the J# runtimes here.

UPDATE (8/1/2010) - Please check this post out if you're getting un handled exceptions. Thanks!
Please report any bugs you find in this thread, as this is the very purpose of this release. Cheers!

Happy Modding!

This shouldnt require any other file format because the C07 mod manager required .cmf files but hardly 10 files were in that format.

anyone can make .cmf files the mod maker should make it.it is not hard it is very simple but since mod manager was released quite late (2 years after the release of the game) it never picked up
but i think people will make the specific mod in this format :)

You mean we can finally install mods quicker without having to replace 45873683056 files one by one? :D (Okay I exaggerated :p)
