I have two suggestions.

1. Authors of threads should be able to close their own thread.

2. Authors of threads should be able to change the title of their thread.

Thanks for listening

I am okay with the 2nd suggestion but not the first. The reason being that it is not altogether advisable to have too many people closing threads, because in that case they may be closed too early and hence someone who may have something vital or interesting to add will not be able to do so. It is best left to the mods and the admins to close threads, IMO.

Yes the first suggestion is definatly not something that should be done. It could cause problems if someone who has created one of the Tour threads in the Cricket Chat forum (e.g. India in Pakistan) etc. suddenly just decides to close their threads. What would happen would be lots of people creating threads about the same thing to replace the old one and they would all have to then be merged.

Yeah, I was unsure bout the first one myself...

But I think the second is good because for example in TCP forum, I have different topics every week covered by my random information...so I have to stick to a general title.

Think bout it please

If the threads are in the cricket 2004/BLIC downloads forum then
I am not able to edit my own thread.
I can move my own threads anywhere.
I can open/close my own thread.

But If they are in the cricket2004/5 main forum, the admin tools menu is hidden.
