I've seen that on at least one forum, I'll take a closer look at just how that works. Concerns would be around what would be a reply and what would be a comment on a post.

Likely it would be used like people on threaded blog comments things, and just do a reply out of place on the first post to have their comment up the top.

Well I'm hoping to fine tune it now, just it was quite difficult to do that when I was the only one able to use it. My other options are to put it next to the post number/permalink, to save having a second bar on the post, or to try again at getting it inside the post (across from the quote buttons).
