Bashar played an amazing stroke off Butterworth to move to 23 from only 15 balls.

There was a big stumping chance on the 2nd ball of the 9th over. Hogg beat Rahman for spin and Gilchrist whipped the bails in a flash. The umpire went up to the 3rd ump. Replays showed that his foot was just over the line so he was given not out. Sloppy batting from Rahman.
Adam Gilchrist attempts to run out Rahman. But is unsuccessful. Note: Shh, I know it's a Sri Lankan.
The 3nd last ball of the over was an over pitched delivery on middle stump that Bashar just drove down the ground for a superb 4.
After 10 overs, Bangladesh were 4/68 and in a good position to make a competitive total. But a couple of wickets, and that can go down the drain.
Bashar batting very well for he banglas. There really smashing the runs now
BTW you didn't need that not at the end of the run out chance. I can only see the top half of the pic lol. I didn't notice it was a srilankan.

*Crackle* “Hell-“ *Crackle*
MS: It seems we have some technical difficulties, we’ll try and get him as soon as we can.
On the first ball of White’s 2nd over, he bowled a wide spinning delivery. Mashud played a brilliant cover drive in the gap and into the boundary for four.
He got carried away and went out next ball going for a six. White bowled a flipper and Mashud’s eyes lit up. But he only resulted in hitting it to the guy at midwicket. He goes for 5. Bangladesh are now 6/86.

But he safely took the catch as Mahmud fell for golden duck. Cameron White is now on a hattrick and Bangladesh have slumped to 7/86.
Cameron White floated the ball up on the hattrick ball to try and get Mortaza to go for a big swing. He did, and connected to smash the ball over cover for four.
MS: We’ve fixed the technical difficulties have have Habibul Bashar down on the ground level.
HB: Hello, Michael.
MS: Habibul, not the best of days again today it seems.
HB: Yeah, all of our players have not learnt their lesson and have gone out to bad shots. Hopefully the tail can stick around so we can make another 30 runs for a competitive total.
SW: Hi Habibul, Shane Warne here. You’ve batted really well. How does it feel?
HB: I'm happy with the way I've batted. I’ve been timing the ball very well today. But it’s not going to be of any worth if we lose.
SW: Thanks for your time, and good luck today.
HB: No problem.

Simon O’Donnell: I’m down here with Cameron White who took 3/30 and nearly a hattrick earlier on. Cameron, you bowled very well today, and was unlucky not to get a hattrick.
CW: Yeah, I was happy with the way I bowled. The were coming out of the hand nicely, and I was awarded for my effort.
SO: What do you think of your teams effort as a whole?
CW: It’s was very good, we all bowled well. “George” bowled well and was very economical. Has to be one of the best spells of bowling I’ve seen in Twenty20 cricket. He was bowling in the right areas and had the batsmen in trouble. He deserved more wickets than he took.
SO: Will you be promoted today to get a chance?
CW: No, no. We’ll stay with the same batting order. Gilly and Haydos didn’t get much of a chance last time, so they’ll get as much of an opportunity to make a quick 50 as they can,.
SO: All right, well bowled and good luck for the rest of the series.
CW: Thanks.
SO: Well there you have it, Australia have bowled Bangladesh out for 104. We’ll be back for the run chase right after this short break.

Who says Australia have the best batting line up in the world? Mashrafe Mortaza runs through the Australian top order in an amazing opening spell to have the Aussies reeling at 4/7 at one stage.
The first boundary came for Australia in the 4th over courtesy of a mis-field. Symonds walked down the pitch and smashed the ball along the ground. The fielder at mid-on was in the wrong position and the ball went between his legs and ran away for four.
On Field Interview: With Habibul Bashar
Tony Grieg: I have Habibul Bashar on the mic. Habibul, can you hear me?
HB: Sure can Tony.
TG: Habibul, you’ve had the best start you could’ve imagine, what are your thoughts?
HB: I’m very happy with the boys efforts so far. We’ve trouble the Aussies and made them get impatient and play rash strokes. Hopefully we can move in and finish them off. That Is something we’ve never been able to do in Bangladesh Cricket.
TG: Mortaza has been bowling brilliantly and was unlucky not to get a hattrick. He’s a very good young player.
HB: Yes, he certainly is. And he encourages the boys which is what we need. He’s been great for our team.
TG: Thanks for your time, Habibul, good luck today.
HB: No problem.
After 5 overs, Australia were 4/13 and in a terrible position. Symonds and Clarke are the not out batsmen. Symonds on 9, and Clarke is yet to score. Australia still need 92 runs to need at a run rate of 6.13.
That was an terrific spell by Mortaza.. Amazing! He destroyed Australian top order and huge pressure on Aussies. Bangladesh has to utilize this miraculous start.. Lets go Bangla
First ball of the six over, and Symonds walked down the pitch and caressed the ball through the gap between cover and cover point all the way for four.
Andrew Symonds showed the only resistance in the Aussie innings.
Next ball was a no-ball. And a costly one at that. Symonds charged down for a massive hit out of the ground but completely missed it and was bowled.
Clarke played a terrible shot next ball and was caught at cover. Aziz picked up his first wicket. Hogg fell first ball of the next over to a terrific fast delivery from Rahman. Hogg, trying to glide the ball down to 3rd man was cramped for space. He got the massive thick inside edge as the ball rebounded into his off stump. He goes for 1 and Australia are 7/26.
Brad Hogg is amazed to find out his bad luck as he chops on a delivery from Rahman.
Bracken was hit in the head first ball. A terrific bouncer jumped up and hit Bracken in the grill. He fell to the ground in pain. The runner came out and assessed Bracken who was bleeding, He was patched up and received a new helmet before continuing.
Bracken was obviously shook up and didn?t want to be at the crease. He danced down the pitch and went for a wild swing, but he missed and was bowled. He goes for a duck and the Aussies are about to be humiliated as they fall to 8/26.
Lee was the 9th wicket down as he was bowled for a duck. He played a terrible shot and all around the ball and was bowled. The score is now 9/27.
Butterworth hit only the 4th four of the innings and his first runs off the bat in international cricket as Rahman strayed down on his hips. Butterworth just glided the ball off the face of his bat down to long leg for four.
3 overs past and only 10 runs were scored. After 15 overs, Australia were 9/41.
The final wicket fell in the 16th over as Symonds reached for a ball way outside off stump. The struggled to reach it and didn?t time the ball at all. This resulted in a brilliant catch diving forward from Hannan Sarkar. He goes for 32 and Australia are All out for 41.
Bangladesh win by 63 runs and the series is tied 1-1.
Bangladesh celebrate the victory against Australia.
Post match interview
Shane Warne: I?m down here with Mashrafe Mortaza who has taken 4/8 and practically won the game from his own bowling. Mashrafe, you bowled excellent and really troubled the top order.
MM: Yes, I happy with way we bowl. Ball come good out my hand and I was rewarded with my effort.
SW: You have a bit of a celebration there. We saw the chicken dance and then some moonwalking.
MM: When it all goes well, we celebrate. And we?ll party tonight. A great win.
SW: Mashrafe Mortaza everyone! Thanks for your time. Back to you up in the commentary box.
Post match chat
IH: Well there you have it, Bangladesh have shocked the World Champions to bowl them out for 41 in a superb effort of bowling. Tony, Michael what are your thoughts on todays game.
TG: Well it seemed that this flat dusty pitch helped the seem bowlers. It had small cracks, but I thought we wouldn?t some into play. It seems they did and that really challenged the batsmen. The ball jumped off a length many times during the match and a lot of wickets resulted from that.
MS: Yes, one man in particular I was happy with was Mortaza. He was amazing. He really troubled the Aussies and his spell of 4/8 from 4 overs really showed why he will be a great bowler for Bangladesh. He had the right line and length, and has superb pace. I saw at one stage and he clocked 148kph! Extreme stuff!
IH: For Bangladesh, they were just wreckless with their shots, and Australia were just out to brilliant balls. Whenever both teams went for a big shot, they were out caught. And the only resistance showed from both teams was Habibul Bashar with a superb knock of 58* from Bangladesh and Andrew Symonds with a gutsy knock of 23 for Australia.
TG: Ah yes, both teams bowled well, but Bangladesh bowled better.
IH: We?ll now go down to Simon O?Donnell who has the match presentation.
Post match presentation
SO: Welcome ladies and gentlemen. I would like to call upon the losing captain, Adam Gilchrist.
SO: Adam, bad day at the office. You just collapsed.
AG: Yeah, it was embarrassing. Credit to Bangladesh, they bowled beautifully and really had us in knots. We?ll have to work away in the nets tomorrow before the final game in 2 days time. It?s important for us that we win the final game. If we lose, it?s going to send our confidence down which is something we don?t need before the tournament in Pakistan.
SO: One positive you can take away today is your bowling. Your guys really bowled well.
AG: Yes, certainly. We had a very good opening bowling combination and Nathan Bracken bowled superbly. I was very happy with our debutant, Luke Butterworth?s effort. He took 1 wicket and stuck with Roy at the end to try and gain us some respectability which is what we need our other batsmen to do.
SO: Thanks for your time Adam. Good luck in 2 days time.
AG: Thanks.
SO: I would like to call upon the man of the match award, who wins some goodies. With a superb opening spell, Mashrafe Mortaza!
SO: Mashrafe doesn?t want to speak as he says he has stage fright, so he is on his way back to his team mates.
SO: Now the winning captain, Habibul Bashar! *Habibul Bashar walks up and slips on the stage, grabbing his right ankle*.
SO: Woops, Habibul has fallen over. We?ll conclude our presentation for today, thank you!
*Bashar gets help from medicos and is taken back to the change rooms.*
TG: A terrific day for Bangladesh, they have defeated Australia. No, they?ve thumped them. Hopefully Habibul Bashar is alright and can play in the final match. Well that?s all from us, from the Channel 9 commentary team, good day!
Scorecard
Guys, thanks for supporting my story, is there any way I can improve it? Thanks.
Bangladesh absoutley deserves there victory. Australia simply can't put out bad batting performances like that. I expect you to wield the axe for the next game Sean. Why does Mortaza have stage fright and how come Bashar tripped and broke his ankle? Interesting stuff
