Bangladesh absoutley deserves there victory. Australia simply can't put out bad batting performances like that. I expect you to wield the axe for the next game Sean. Why does Mortaza have stage fright and how come Bashar tripped and broke his ankle? Interesting stuff

He didn't break his ankle, but just hurt it. He should be alright for the next game. I said that Mortaza had SF because I'd already done an interview with him and I wanted to wrap up the update.

Nice story here gilly_fan. I like the graphics you are integrating into the story considering you are playing on PS2

Keep up the great effort!

Shane Warne: Hello and welcome to Dhaka for the 3rd and final Twenty20 between Bangladesh and Australia. It should be a great contest. Australia smashed Bangladesh in game one, but Bangladesh bounced back and crushed the Aussies in game 2. There are some big changes and here are the teams.

Australia have dropped Michael Clarke and Brad Hodge for todays clash. Bracken is out after suffering concussion in the last game. Hopes and Ponting are in. Matthew Hayden and Adam Gilchrist have been given another chance at the top of the order.

Habibul Bashar will play after his fall on the podium 2 days ago, but Rahman is out with a stomache bug. Alok Kapali will replace him.

Australia won the toss earlier and decided to have a bowl. We’ll get into things straight away and head into the commentary box where the commentators are ready to begin.

Why is Butterworth so far down the order???

10 over update

In the 2nd over, Butterworth bowled a delivery that was too wide. Omar just reached out and spanked it to the boundary.

Next ball he beat Omar with a jaffer. The ball pitched and hit a crack; it jagged back and nearly bowled Omar.

2nd ball of Lee?s 2nd over and he overpitched and was smashed down the ground for six from a killer blow by Sarkar.

Butterworth picked up the first wicket of the match with a superb slower ball. He bowled it on a good length and Omar completely missed it and was bowled leg stump. He goes for 4 and Bangladesh are 1/17.

Butterworth tried another slower ball next ball, but it was too slow. And it allowed Bashar to smash it down the ground for four.

Hannan Sarkar fell in the next over to a superb bouncer. At 145kph+ and going at his throat, Sarkar was very late on the shot and gave a simple catch to North at square leg. He goes for 12 and Bangladesh are now 2/21.

Aussies are having their revenge back now.. Not too good signs for Bangladesh at the moment, but in Twenty20s anything can happen.. Lets see  Keep up the great efforts mate :)

Erm, comments? :(

This is one of the issues, many story writers feel while writing the stories. In my opinion, i just suggest you to keep the story moving.. Don't wait for comments. Just keep going. There are many people here who read the stories regularly.

Butterworth hattrick crushes Bangladesh

Symonds replaced Hopes in the 12th over, and on the 3rd last ball, he was smashed for six over square leg. He flighted a ball up and Mashud just flicked the ball over square leg for 6.

Khaled hit 2 sixes and a four in a little cameo of 17.

Next ball, Symonds dragged the ball down and wide and Mashud cut the ball over point for four.

Andrew-Symonds-NZC.jpg

Andrew Symonds took a little pasting in his only 2 overs.

Last ball of the over, Symonds overpitched and Khaled Mashud when for a big drive down the ground and hit it all the way for six.

Brad Hogg picked up his 4th wicket in his final over as Khaled Mashud went for a slog sweep. It was middled, but he didn’t get onto it well and was caught in the end by Brett Lee.

Butterworth came on and was smashed for back to back fours from Habibul Bashar.

Next ball he bowled a full and wide delivery which bashar smashed. But he only resulted in smashing it to Lee at deep cover. He goes for 39 and Bangladesh are now 8/91.

Butterworth got Abdur Razzak out for ball. He bowled a yorker which Razzak tried to smash. He mistimed it and it was caught at mid-off by Symonds. He goes for a golden duck and Bangladesh are now 9/91. Butterworth is on a hattrick.

Butterworth bowled a slowerball next ball which kept down. Aziz went for the a cover drive but the ball went under his bat and he was out for a duck. That’s the hattrick for Butterworth and Bangladesh are all out for 91.

SO: I have Luke Butterworth down here with me. Luke, well bowled. You really deserved that hattrick.

LB: Thanks, I thought I bowled well. Although that hattrick ball came out all wrong. But, I’ll take it any day of the week. 12 months ago, if someone had come up to me and told me that I’ll be in the Aussie team this time next year, I would’ve taken them to a mental hospital. I’m so proud.

SO: Your team bowled well, especially Brad Hogg. He bowled brilliantly.

LB: Yeah, he did. He was getting the ball to dip and spin. It really troubled the batsmen and he really deserved it.

SO: 91 isn’t a safe win as we saw 2 days ago. What are your thoughts?

LB: Absolutely, the key is to get off to a good start. If we can get a partnership of 50-60 first up, then we can think about winning. We need to counter Mortaza. He’s the key for them, and we need to stop him.

SO: Alright, thanks for the interview. And congratulations on the hattrick.

LB: Thanks.

This should be an easy win for Aussies unless Mortaza destroys the top order ;) Keep up the amazing presentation.
