Story Australian Journey to WT20|AUS VS WI|Sebastain Performs, but not Gayle

Its 8th of June, 2009, when Australian Cricketers and Australia Cricket Fans were totally shocked to see Australia, the three times world 50 over champion, getting out of ICC World T20, when Mitchell Johnson put up a leg side wide to Jehan Mubarak. Huh. The controversy came out. Many cricketing experts beckoned Aussies are unfit for T20's. They are to face 7 T20i's before they play the next T20 world cup at West Indies.

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, Binnu, who has contributed his part to this section of planetcricket, is now penning a new story describing how Australians performed in T20's in those 7 T20i's and how did they end up in 2010 ICC World T20 in West Indies.

Australia are gonna play 2 T20i's each against England (at England), West Indies (at Australia) and New Zealand (at New Zealand) and will play a T20i against Pakistan (at Australia).

Those are the only games which Aussies are having before the ICC World T20, 2010.

Well,Nice start there Binnu. This story is based on India but i hope that at least India reach to semi finals or maybe finals. Will keep an eye on this,best of luck for this story.

Ricky Ponting admitted that he is going to take all the responsibility for Australians Performance in ICC World T20, 2009. He even said that its the format, for which he doesn't suit. Meanwhile, soon after than, he even said that he is no more playing any T20 games even in Domestic tournaments.

According to him, he said that the Australia team missed Andrew Symonds. He explained that in both the situations, a quality sixth bowler was required, which Roy could have fulfilled. And even he said that if he was playing, there would have been 10 or 20 runs more than what they had.

Ricky Ponting Actually said ,"Well, I'm the right man to be blamed for Australians early exit in ICC World T20. As a captain, I'm ready to answer all the critics related to this loss and I feel I'm unfit for T20 cricket. And thats the main reason I've decided myself to stop playing T20 cricket. And, I'd like to say that we'd have been easily in if we had Roy in the squad. The Australian team clearly required a good and experienced sixth bowler so as to control the situations in both the games. And I could have expected 10 to 20 more runs in our total, if Roy would have batted."

So, Ricky Ponting decides not to play any more T20 cricket. Cricket Australia bid a good farewell to him by giving him a shield for all the things he did for them in T20s.
