I like it as well, it is indeed simple, but it is quite beautifual as well. Personally I don't think the batsman is looking towards the sky, but towards the bowler, and the camera is positioned below the horizontal, adding to the theme of the batsman being in control, the batsman symbolically is this instance representing the player.

it looks like a 10 minute photoshop job to me, not excatly great but who cares, its a box! when you pick it up the first thing you do is turn it around to look at the back anyway
