Not wanting to divert from cricket :lol but as I hate bowling, I just wondered can you after finishing one innings batting save the game then load and bat for the other side? obviously people are gonna say "but what is the point" but hey ho each to their own ;)

To answer the original question, depends on if @ethybubs wears that leopard print shirt, gets me every time. something something DBC14 something.

Wait, someone started a thread asking if they could bat for both sides, and it was only the third reply that started to take the piss? This forum is going downhill rapidly.

I haven't been around much... I take full responsibility.

Joking aside,i'm sorry coz you are 100% right.

I believe thats still illegal in Queensland.

...

You can if you make a competition then save it at the start of each innings.

When you restart you can select

@SteveS3667 Yes, it can be done in both Competition & Tour mode.

I have found an alternative way to play the game if you don't particularly like bowling or you continue to bowl the AI out cheaply.

Simply create a tour of your choice and once you get to the match settings screen select left or right on the d pad to choose your team. Once in the game simply save and exit upon finishing your batting innings and load up the saved game again but this time choose the team in which is due in to bat so you're effectively chasing down your own score :) This is how I played IC10 and had a lot of fun doing it.

By the way I was just going to write this up here. Yesterday I got bored and frustrated with my career player when batting didn't clicked and I got to do only bowling in 3 matches continuously. So started 8 team T20 KO and batted both sides choosing opponent side accidently when I loaded saved game after the dinner break I took between the innings. :thumbs

Your answers.

Nah, I think it depends on whether the wicket keeper is Billy Murdoch or Jack Blackham. If it is Jack, you get to bat twice for obvious reasons. Barlow is not even allowed.

I think it's a great idea.

Likewise, batting for one player on each team.

Actually wow, imagine playing classic matches with one either batsman/bowler each team. So Headingly 81 batting with Hughes and Botham, or bowling with Alderman and Willis. 1986 tied test batting with Jones and Kapil Dev.

eta ok I got a little carried away there for a sec
