OK Here's a tutorial for everybody who wants to personalize BLIC to certain players - I will do the boot screen tutorial first :
For this you will need a decent photo-editing software - preferably Photoshop.
1. Create a new image with the dimensions 638x512
2. Make your loading screen then save it as a .png and .psd and close both, here is a finished example, (DO NOT USE) :
OK so easy so far but now it gets harder, open the .png version of the file
3. Extract the Start1-6.dds files from Boot_Lara.bag loacated in the GUI folder
4. Open them in Photoshop and then overlay them onto your Boot Screen, (make sure it fits perfectly any slight mistake will make it look bad), like so:
5. Once you have finished with that go back to the first layer of the overlay and select the area around it with the magic wand, then go to select inverse.
6. Now select the layer with your Boot Screen in it and go to copy
7. Go back to the Start_1.dds file and simply press paste, couldn't be easier!.
8. Repeat instructions 5-7 with the other .dds files, now you are ready to save them
9. Save them as a .dds file using the .dds plugin and save as follows
Then simply replace the .dds files in Boot_Lara, hopefully you now know how to make boot screens - please nobody place any more boot screen tutorials in here I have explained it in as much detail as I possibly can.
First 3 to make a Boot Screen who haven't already made one will get reps, good luck!
