The thing is, there hasn't been a new game since Cricket 2000. Well only graphics have improved.

Actually what I feel is Peter is just keeping the game confidential until the licensing issues are resolved.

We should hope for best

What I take from Moore's blog comment is that there is a cricket game, but it was being worked on before the frenzied attempts by people like TLCJones (I think that is his name) to alert him to cricket, and that the game coming is not a result of such pushing, and it won't work.

To be honest, whats the point in getting animated just yet? We can talk about the game but in all honesty, it'll be an Ashes release at the earliest!

Plus, whats the point in hyping up C09, when its just C07 repackaged! Am I too depressing?

i thought the point of forums like planetcricket is for us to
talk cricket games etc,
is this forum run by ea or codemaster
or some other games company, i say that because people have
hinted about the game , so whats the point

The biggest thing which has kept our hopes alive is EA's online registration. I am eagerly waiting for Cricket 09/10 and I hope we'll be able to see it soon.

Realistically just keeping the same file formats would suit me fine (and save me recoding my player editor!).

Same, if the fsh format and their reading format remains the same, it saves me a hell lot of time to code for Cricket 09 Mod Manager, apart from the new features of course.
