Lancishire vs West Indies, OD Warm Up Match - Manchester!

Hi there viewers, good to see you all tuning in. Now theres more than one reason were looking forward to this match and talking about the match it should be a right cracker.

One reason is the big question, will Freddie perform of International level will he pass the fiteness of a full game? Yes we've all been waiting to see if the big allrounder can get back into the England side plus we can see him in action and see if he's up to scratch with his batting and bowling if not then who will take his place...?

Well the teams are out on the pitch ready to get it started and ready to get the summer of cricket underway whos your money on? You may also be wondering what the second reason for this match being watched so closley is?

Well it's to observe how the Windies play of course even though it's a OD match it will be good to see what type of form their in or how their confidence levels are out in the middle always good to keep your opponents under close watch...Oh and of course, we want to know how other players like Anderson are doing of course he is in plans for England this summer so all is to be watched in this match, stay with us more coming up later...

Lancishire vs West Indies, 10 Overs Update!

Well the match has got underway now theres a really good atmosphere around the ground, the crowd are enjoying the sun and you get the good feeling of good old cricket being back. Now Lancishire have been really catious and obviously we don't expect them to hit away all of a sudden against an International team. They've made a good effort so far some close LBW calls that could have gone either way have kept the Lancs in luck, both openers doing a good job, when will we see Loye's famous 'Slog Sweep'?

Aside fromt he sweeping and slogging, the Lancs have gone slow but played some wonderful fours not many fours hit btw the but the ones that have been hit are text book and top quality. Windies probably feel theres a breakthrough around the corner but who knows, maybe the crowd also want a few breakthrough's? To see how their hero does in a tight situation, or are we being to far-fetched? I think yes.

On another note this is also a great chance for some county cricketers to get into the England squad or even the ODI squad, especially Mal Loye who will want to impress and get another bite at International level....

3.7 is not a bad run-rate. Hopefully they can increase this in the next 10.

Nice work mate, but I still think your ingame images look strange

Ohhhhhh. Ok it was just originally you only had '05 on the title but I see that you have now changed it.

Thank you for the clarification and good luck with the story :)

Notice!

Hey guy's I got to the 47th over with me at 200-5 and I was saving it after the save I wasn't able to resume match I've tried a few things now but I can't get back into the match, so I will start test series, real sorry as I had a good story and significance for this match but not to be now, well I can still continue the little storyline but it wont be as dramatic...

Sorry guys! :(

Bad luck, but hey it is n't your fault.

I'm looking forward to the Test Match as your story has been really good so far

Yes in OD games it does that. You have to try and play all the way through without saving which is annoying!

I think C04 had a bug where the bowler bowled 10 overs and then the game didn't change the bowler if you saved. You had to use the gamechanger to swap controller, change bowler, save, use gamechanger again to swap controller and then you could continue. This might be it.

Good story anyway and hope you continue!

Shocking News For The Whole Of England!

The ECB have just confirmed that Freddie Flintoff Englands hero will not be participating in the first test and maybe just painfully maybe a miss for the whole summer it's the ankle once again we hear. He seemed fine in the batting part of Lancashire although he made only 12 a slow 12 mind you he didn't look in too much trouble so how did it happen, let's find out!

Peter Moores: 'We are really disapointed to announce that Andrew Flintoff has once again been injured of course many will be wondering how, well we thought he came through fine at the Lancashire match although he only batted we gave him a chance. Obviously we had been watching him bat but he joined England for a routine team training and thats when it happened he was asked to show how he is with his bowling and he done his ankle over again.

'Freddie Flintoff packs his bags and heads back to his hometown'

A Huge blow for us of course we were expecting him to really show his true colours once again this summer but it doesn't look like happening. His recovery may take a pretty long time, we are hopeing he will be back for that Tri-Series being held in late October-December but it is a critical condition so if we were to judge realistically I'd say he could be back for the tour of Pakistan in 2008 or even more realistically the return tour to the West Indies and thats if he comes on really well'

Whos In For Freddie?
