Gauteng vs England, Day 1 - Tea!

Another good session for England they did lose a few wickets which all fell in the same mannor somehow, but the main attention was on Andrew Strauss who has hit a wonderful 100 to get him into nick for the Test Series against South Africa.

Still a long way though, also Trescothick and Vaughan missed out on 50's nothing suggested the form was bad both just found the edge and were both caught by McKenzie in the same fashion a diving catch at 3rd Slip, I didnt mention thats how Strauss went to!

Here are the stats and scores of this warm up game and England look to be on top Pietersen has gone balistic smashing fours and has 38 of little under 20 balls if he carrys on it will be a huge score and has the Shermanator to support him...

Gauteng vs England, Day 1 - Stumps!

England have had a great day with just over 500 runs coming from it plenty of 4's and quite a few 6's from the two powerhouses Pietersen and Flintoff and 100's to with KP getting into fine form 176* at close of play and also Freddie unbeaten on 57 so it should be a productive day for England one way or another if they can bat all day tommorow because im sure England would want to bat for long then just get in some bowling to get in nip for the next warm up.

The scorecard is good reading if you support England nice to see your batsman make an effort but we have seen too many times befor when it comes to the big stage they dont perform aswell as the warm up's we'll have to wait till next week I guess, stay tuned!
