With not long till the close of play it is key that England take wickets and break this partnership. After being 117-3 England seemed in control but since then the Sri Lankans have put on 84 together saving the The sri lankans slightly.
Dude all your graphics are frikkin awesome. Keep up the work and hope the English produce some fight (only because SL beat India in the Asia Cup final!!!!)
Day 1 4:09pm Sri Lanka 224 for 3 (57 overs)
Till'kartn 66* (77)
Jayawarden 39* (78)
A.Giles 3.0-0-10-0
M.Vaughan 4.0-2-13-0
Sri Lanka now going along at a steady pace and the spinners are finding it tough due to the lack of turn which as put a smile on the English batsmen faces. M.Vaughan has bowled 4 overs even though he only wanted to bowl 1 but after a maiden he took the chance. Giles is getting a bit of turn but not enough to stop the sweep which has brough alot of runs. During the tea break the commentators Nasser and botham took a look at the pitch and identified some darker areas which the bowlers should aim for. It will be intresting to see the final result at the endof the day and whether the fast batting of Till'kartn will be the cause of his own dimise.

Is this off the pc or the TV, the shot is absolutely awesome, the crowd in the background look quite realistic too. Isnt Jayawardane right hander though?
The players have made there way out on this the 2nd day of the 3rd of 5 test in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka are poised for a big score (again) with the 300 up and 5 wickets remaining. With the new ball avalible it was intresting to see when Vaughan would take the new ball but Giles and Vaughan himself were bowling well and getting chances.
I found how effective Vaughan and Giles were in the final of the Natwest Series. Hence I have selected only four specialist bowlers for my first test, and will be using Vaughan and if required Butcher and Trescothick as the additional part-time bowlers. However I need Flintoff back in the team as soon as possible.
